Results of anti-American policies of the US Congress and Presidents of the last 20 years: the only booming US industry, shale oil, fracking is seeing some 40% drop in investment, while Communist China, propped by the US investment, is bailing out Communist Venezuela and hedging Russia’s losses

In the past 20 years US Presidents and US Congress led the most anti-American policies of the US history.  Their actions were motivated by the desire to give maximum profits for the international oligarchs, billionaires, who bought elections for our politicians, and to get sizable kickbacks. These policies included WTO-GATT and NAFTA, signed by Clinton, which did away with tariffs supporting US industries, and led to heavy investment in slave labor in Communist China. As a result, we lost most of our manufacturing and 28 million US manufacturing jobs went to China.

Similarly, open borders led to further piling of the US debt and impoverishment of the US population.

The only industry that was booming until now, was fracking. Now Saudi Arabia is seeking to regain its market share by drastically reducing the oil prices. The cost of Saudi oil production is the lowest in the world with $17 per barrel. Saudis can go to $20 per barrel to kill all of the competitors.

On the other hand, 70% of the US fracking is not profitable under $60 per barrel. Now the prices went down to $55. As a result, Harold Hamm, fracking pioneer, has reduced his investment in the shale oil production by 41%.

Currently the only thing that keeps many of the fracking companies afloat, is insurance, which provides hedging against price reduction. However, most insurance policies expire now, in the beginning of the year. This means, that by the end of the first quoter we might see drastic reduction in fracking.

On the other hand, communist China has hedged Russian losses and is expected to prop Venezuela as well.

At this point, what can support the US economy, is taxation on the foreign oil, which would protect the US fracking from extinction. For such bald move we need  a president and leaders of congress, who are true patriots and are not corrupt. Alas… This is a very tall order…
