Patriots have always been against raising taxes because a tax takes away the wealth that someone has produced, thus making him a slave. At some point, taxation even with representation becomes oppression. We have reached that stage in California. It’s time for a revolution, a tax revolt. Everyone should pay their fair share but no government should take so much that it decreases the quality of life for ordinary people. We are already paying too much in taxes for everything including gas, any increase in the tax on gas which is already overtaxed, is totally unacceptable. The Rohrabacher Team is all in on this issue and we applaud Carl DeMaio for leading the effort.

    I guess CA. has a high tax rate on gasoline?

    In the midwest it’s about $2.65 for gas at the pump.
