Dr Taitz, from our past experience with all of the Rogue Courts that you have been in front of with overwhelming evidence of Soebarkahs blatant fraud & forgery, what is your realistic goal with the 9th Circus next month? Is one of your goals to directly involve Lynch in all of this? One other question. Have you found Judge Hanen down in Brownsville to be an honest man worthy of his position thus far with him standing up for the Constitution and the rule of law in regards to the amnesty case he has been dealing with?

Judge Richard J. Leon (by Beverly Rezneck via Wikimedia Commons)
Judge Richard J. Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia is not someone you want to annoy. He revels in his status as a federal judge, and he won’t hesitate to dispense brutal benchslaps to lawyers whose responses don’t satisfy him.

Here’s a report on Judge Leon’s latest handiwork, courtesy of Josh Gerstein of Politico:

A federal judge is lashing out at the State Department for delaying for years in providing responses to Associated Press Freedom of Information Act requests seeking records about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s schedules and her top staffers.

At a contentious hearing last week, U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon demanded explanations for why some of the AP’s [Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)] requests received no reply for four years or more before the wire service filed suit in March….

DOJ lawyers Lisa Ann Olson and Marcia Berman said the agency was prioritizing the public release of the 55,000 pages of [Hillary Clinton-related emails in response to another judge’s order requiring monthly releases of those records.

However, Leon accused Olson of responding with “convoluted gobbledygook” when she insisted that the State Department’s processing of those emails would satisfy the AP’s request for records about Clinton Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin’s transition to a special part-time position at State.

ANOTHER DELAY…ANOTHER JUDGE WAITING TO DO NOTHING…BUT RELEASE CO2…

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department has delivered only seven of nearly 70 pages of documents that a federal judge identified as potentially responsive to an Associated Press request for documents relating to Hillary Rodham Clinton’s hiring of longtime aide Huma Abedin as a special government contract staffer.

The department’s response contained only five email documents, two of them partially censored.

Meanwhile, government lawyers asked another federal judge to delay releasing thousands of pages of documents, sought by news media and legal and political organizations, from Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state until January 2016.

The State Department’s request to delay its release of emails and other Clinton-related documents raised the prospect that significant information about her tenure as secretary of state might not surface until after early Democratic Party presidential nomination contests in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Impatient with years of previous delays from the State Department over requests by the AP for emails and documents from Clinton and several of her top aides, U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon set a strict schedule for release of the material last month. It included an order to deliver to the AP all uncensored portions of an estimated 68 pages of documents related to Abedin by Tuesday. The AP sued the State Department last March because of delays stretching back to 2013 in the news agency’s efforts to obtain documents about Clinton’s diplomatic stint under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act.

In a letter written along with the seven pages of documents, a State Department official writing for John Hackett, the agency’s director of information programs and services, said only that searches of the department’s Central Policy Records and Office of Public Affairs “did not result in the retrieval of responsive material.” The official did not explain why the material was unresponsive or cite any specific national security or privacy concerns that prompted the withholding of the documents cited by the judge.

The official said further searches were still ongoing in other agency offices. The government’s response also did not say whether it was searching the files of former Clinton aides, as the AP had requested in the FOIA request cited in the March lawsuit.

State Department spokesman Alec Gerlach declined to comment, saying the agency will not comment on cases in litigation.

In August, Leon gave the State Department 30 days to produce records regarding Abedin, which he noted “have been estimated to be approximately 68 pages in total.” Leon ordered the agency to deliver, between this month and March 2016, thousands more pages that include Clinton’s schedules, the department’s oversight of military contractor BAE Systems and emailed references to surveillance and counterterrorism programs.

In a deposition filed in July, Hackett said the government would have to review and process more than 22,000 pages of material in connection with the AP lawsuit.

Government lawyers cautioned in a filing in a separate court case against the State Department that the agency’s resources for processing requests for Clinton-related files “are strained to the limit.” Justice Department lawyers working on behalf of the State Department said more than 16,500 new requests for Clinton-related files have been filed since September 2014 and there are now 87 court challenges pending in federal courts.

The department urged U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras to give it until January 2016 to schedule the release of the records. The judge had ordered it to begin producing those emails by Sept. 1, but the deadline passed with none released. Contreras rejected a previous State Department plan to release the documents in January.

Both the Iowa caucuses and the New Hampshire primary are scheduled in early February. Under the proposed State Department schedule, it is not clear whether any documents would be released before then, and it could take months more to process and release them.

The State Department’s latest push to delay release of the Clinton-related emails came as an agency spokesman said Wednesday there was no conflict of interest in the decision to appoint a retired diplomat, Janice Jacobs, to oversee the State Department’s handling of information requests even though she had made a $2,700 donation to Clinton’s presidential campaign in June.

“We understand how some people might have that perception,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said, referring to Secretary of State John Kerry’s decision to appoint Jacobs to lead the agency’s overwhelmed information-processing staff. He added, “Ambassador Jacobs was chosen for her exemplary service, particularly in this kind of area, and the secretary is 100 percent convinced that she’s the right person for the job.”

Kirby acknowledged that the department was unaware of Jacobs’ donation to Clinton before Kerry selected her.

Kirby said U.S. law does not prohibit current or former federal employees from contributing to political candidates, although he acknowledged that part of her new job will be to make judgments about releasing records that could portray Clinton in a negative light. Jacobs was chosen, he added, based on her past performance in overseeing hidebound bureaucracies. He said she was instrumental in revamping the U.S. visa application system in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks. Besides hiring Jacobs, Kirby said, Kerry has also ordered the transfer of 50 State Department officials to join the beleaguered information staff in processing records requests.

The State Department is in the process of analyzing and releasing at least 30,000 work-related emails that Clinton turned over after she acknowledged earlier this year that as secretary of state between 2009 and 2013, she exclusively used a private computer server and private email addresses to communicate with other federal officials and intimates.

Rod: yeah…I know what you mean!

And wanted to describe to all what I have been going through for months…

Have recently had a phone call from someone in Ky…didn’t know him…he didn’t know me…but he left a message on my answering machine and wanted me to call him right away…!

I did…and found that he had been called by someone using my name and phone number…and he asked: what do you want?

    I said that I didn’t call you…you left a message on my machine…

We found out that he had been contacted by someone…but not me!

I told him that we got someone where I live or the govt doing this…and they have never grown up and can’t leave people alone!

And forget to tell him to check the (Star)-69 to find out who called him?

And I’ve gotten b.s. calls from various states and they won’t answer the phone once I called!

    Only the establishment does this!

What a group of harassing SOB’s!

Davey, if this gets through, it will be the first one in over month to be posted, and maybe that is a good thing, lol.

As for those calls, that is normal… last year I had at least 21 robot calls, a week, sometimes 5 a day,and so had my phone number changed. There would be either no one on the line or someone would say hello or say goodbye, or no sound at all. If you go to ‘Who Called Me?’ you will find this is happening to everyone, and at all hours of the day and night, and most of these people are not interested in Obama or politics, per se. It is just a weird sign of our society’s deterioration, when people have nothing better to do than to sit and randomly call a number without a reason. Some may be telemarketers, some may be just plain looney.

Here is a strange thing; as I was typing this note to you, my phone rang and a robot said I would get 999 dollars towards my next trip…press 1 for more info, press 2 for removal from list… so I pressed two. Now is that coincidence or what? Maybe someone CAN read as we type…scary.

Anyhow, since this board name, Starlight, did not allow posts, I changed it and posts were able to be rec’d. (not that mine are that enlightening… I usually am griping that the military isn’t rousting Obama, as they should be and should have done, already).

Maybe that is the straw that breaks the camel’s back, as the saying goes. Do not hassle the military into doing their job.

Starlight, I have a hunch that it’s a business scheme of those selling phone number blockers. Could be that they use auto dialers to annoy prospective buyers of call blocker machines. Then advertise their products to block the nuisance calls which they are creating. The price goes up with the amount of numbers a blocker is capable of blocking. Of course that number is unlimited. The phone companies could be part of the corruption since I am sure they could put a stop to it. Land lines are hurting since the advent of mobile phones and so they virtually offer them free as part of a total package. It is probably a total package of corruption like all the nuisance phone ads that create a market for phone blockers. All the authorities fix it by admonishing you to “report all nuisance calls”. This is more corruption since it churns the market and blames the victims for
it if they don’t report the numbers. They are ingenious in their wickedness. Rom 1:21-32

Rich, interesting theory… I did begin to receive more robot calls about a week after I bought a Honda CRV..I did not accuse Honda, but it did cross my mind that more calls were coming in than previously. That went on for a month and I changed my phone number..so far, maybe one a month, and I don’t pick up. That discourages them and stops the circus clowns.

    Starlight/Rich:…

I was getting these calls from several states. They gave a number, then, I’d call, and the voice would say: “this number can’t be reached!”

So I saved the numbers and used a tape recorder to keep track of everything. Also, they were calling my (unlisted) number!! How do they get the unlisted number?

The speil was something like you posted: press one to blah-blah…or two to opt out!

But since it was on a answering machine, I couldn’t do anything but call the #, to check it out.

Had an attorney check these numbers and he said that don’t get involved with these people!

So now am having phone problems with my phone company and they are something else!

  16. Davey Crockett...
    September 19th, 2015 @ 10:39 am

As for the phone calls from other states…

Most of them are like:…a pause…then, a couple of clicks…then, they hang up!

I have most of them recorded…but after awhile, it gets to become a “yawner!”
