Alan Keyes Arrested Protesting Abortion at Notre Dame

by DefendUSx May 08, 2009 15:19

Alan Keyes is a Plantiff on Dr. Orly Taitz lawsuit in damanding Congress explain by what authority Obama is sitting in office as President (Quo Warranto)

The South Bend Tribune reports that political activist, author, former diplomat and presidential candidate Alan Keyes has been arrested on the campus of Notre Dame. Keyes was involved in an anti-abortion protest at the time of his arrest.

Keyes was involved in an anti-abortion protest at the time of his arrest.

On May 6, 2009, Keyes announced he would be present at the University of Notre Dame on May 17 and planned to be arrested protesting President Obama’s invitation to speak and receive an honorary degree at the ceremony, the Catholic News Agency reported.

In a statement released earlier this week, Keyes said he “will go to South Bend. I will step foot on the Notre Dame campus to lift up the standard that protects the life of the innocent children of this and every generation. I will do it all day and every day from now until the Master comes if need be, though it mean I shall be housed every day in the prison house of lies and injustice that Obama, Jenkins and their minions now mean to construct for those who will never be still and silent in the face of their mockery of God and justice, their celebration of evil.”

Randall Terry, founder of the the pro-life organization Operation Rescue, appeared this afternoon on the Alex Jones Show with Jason Bermas, Terry said Keyes was arrested with other protesters as they pushed baby carriages with dolls covered in fake blood across the campus of the Catholic university. Terry said the protests will continue.

In 2008, Keyes lost a bid to become the Constitution Party presidential candidate.. During the convention, the party’s founder, Howard Phillips, gave a controversial speech in which he referred to Keyes as “the neocon candidate.” Keyes formed a new third party, America’s Independent Party, for his presidential candidacy. In the federal election held on November 4, 2008, Keyes received 47,694 votes nationally to finish seventh.

Notre Dame campus is private property. Alan Keyes was obviously not welcome. He was wrong.

I have previously communicated with Alan Keyes on several occasions concerning 1st Amendment rights involving the media and this news worries me greatly. He is a man of honor and I have told Keyes that I stand shoulder to shoulder with him about protecting and preserving the US Constitution. We all have rights to openly express our opinion and views and this demonstrates that our freedoms are under threat. I am personally planning to run for Governor of California and the state resolutions for independence, sovereignty, and self-governance are now becoming very favorable!

This arrest is surelly RACE related/motivated and I demand Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and all the Race Pimps organize a protest to support this “black” man. Ohhh, that’s right “racism” only happens to LIEberals and never to Conservatives even if they are black they “probably deserve it” after all the are “extremists” and Don’t EVEN DESERVE TO HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS as Pirates or Terrorists.
Welcome to Obama/Soetoro’s UPSIDE DOWN AmeriKKKa different Circus with Worse CLOWNS continue in Town.

America Stand Up, Rise Up, WAKE UP.
I propose from now on Everyone should start wearing at least one article of camouflage in support of Military and Our Veterans that have been labeled “extremists”. In future “TEA Parties or any Other Protests” wear as much camouflage as you can in support of our Patriots and our Military.

    Mr. Alan Keyes,

Thank you sir for your courage. It is YOU sir that should be running this country. I’m sorry I didn’t really know who you were before the election in November. WELL, I know who you are now and YOU have my vote in the future if you were to run again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

McCain turned out to be a REAL dissapointment to me. WHY won’t he do ANYTHING about THIS FRAUD. And I thought Palin would have the COURAGE to be involved against this fraud. WHERE IS SHE? I feel ANY politician who comes forward to help these cases will have a great future as a politician in this country.

    Higest regards Mr. Keyes

A most admirable man – Alan Keyes.

Catholics and all Notre Dame alumni should threaten to withdraw any and all funds from this institution. With it being a private institution, if you hit ’em in their pocketbook maybe they’ll listen.

Just called St Josephs Jail in IN and he is not in their system, so he must have been released from custody according to jail administration. I was outraged by the Notre Dame University for not allowing some peaceful protesters on their campus. In the UK it is normal for people to protest peacefully on University campuses/grounds. We should be able to exercise our 1st Amendments rights peacefully without repercussions. Since Obama is allowed to visit Notre Dame then should Alan Keyes be allowed equally to make a speech/meeting/protest about his opinion and views also. Again it is disgraceful for Notre Dame to interfere with Keye’s rights under the 1st Amendment for freedom of speech and expression. What kind of University is this? It’s not like Winchester University or like most other Universities in the UK that promote and raise awareness amongst their students, that’s for sure!

I heard a few weeks ago that many donors to Notre Dame were calling to say they are withdrawing their financial support. I’m sure at this point they don’t know what to do…of course, this is a problem of their own making. They should never have even considered inviting Obama at all. He is the antithesis of everything they are supposed to believe in.

With 68 bishops incensed about the invitation, I think Jenkins is going to have to resign or rescind the offer. Obama would never have the humility to pull out to stop the controversy – same as the birth certificate. He could care less about anyone else…he’s the worse narcissist the world has ever known, and it’s another ego boost for him to feel he’s pulling one over on Notre Dame, at their inappropriate invitation.

I think something is going to happen between now and the 17th. It’s great that there is such an uproar…we who cherish life, our Constitution and the United States of America need to go on the offensive and say what we think. It’s already happening…Carrie Prejean spoke out and was excoriating, but she is going to win the battle in this culture war.

Just this evening there was a high school student who sued his teacher for expressing disdain and condescension for his Christian beliefs. The student won! So now the pendulum is starting to swing the other way, and boy, is it going to swing!

We’re going to bring back adherence to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The states are declaring sovereignty one by one. Gun rights laws are being passed which tell the federal government to stay out of the state’s affairs. Criminal complaints are being filed against Obama, and he’s going to be exposed for the fraud that he is.

Good will triumph, and evil will lose. And many heads will roll.

where is Jesse Jackson when a brother needs him? About 10 years ago Jesse was coming to town. My boss was able to meet his long time hero at the airport and share a limo ride to the event. My boss is a proud african american and very accomplished man. which i respect for his hard work. So he’s so excited to ride with Jesse his hero. He comes back to work and we ask. How was it? He said Jesse didn’t even give him the time of day! He was totally discouraged. Unless its politically correct and involves money. Its hard for any man to stand up for justice. Jesus did and didn’t commit even one sin!! And people killed him for it!
