I think there is a valid reason in this specific case. Does he not have half a leg blown off from combat?

Well, whether he had a bad knee or not, he chose to do the right thing, to show his fans that he IS very Patriotic and that’s part of the experience the fans have come to view and enjoy!
I salute this young player!
And the coach ought to be fired for his comments to make them not stand!
