Importance of the Hispanic vote in National elections is greatly overrated

        1. Importance of the Hispanic vote in National elections is greatly overrated
        2. By Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ
        3. We have heard  a lot of noise about the need to support the open borders policies in order for GOP to win in 2016. We are also hearing about the crucial importance of the Latino vote. However, let’s look at the numbers. Articles below show that only 11 million Hispanics voted in 2012. Since many Hispanics are poor, they traditionally vote for Dems, who give them more aid through government programs. Same is true about the Black votes. 90% of Blacks vote for Dems and for them the status of illegals from Mexico is not an important issue, it is at the bottom of the list. So, the notion that we need to pander to illegal aliens to get the Hispanic votes is fundamentally wrong.
        4. But let’s look further. Some are saying that Bush won because 43% of Hispanics voted for him and Romney lost because only 27% of Hispanics voted for him. First of all, an article below shows that 43% number of Hispanics voting for Bush might be a bogus number. Exit polls showed that only 33% of Hispanics voted for  Bush. Let’s translate this difference in real numbers. Since 11 million Hispanics voted in 2012, additional 5-15% of the Hispanic vote would translate to between half a million to 1.5 million voters. Further, vast majority of Hispanics live in 2 border state: Texas and California. No matter what Trump does, no matter how Hispanics vote, Texas reliably votes red and California reliably votes blue.  Remember that Romney lost by 5 million, so  additional Hispanic vote, if any, would not have made any difference.   On the other hand, 4-5 million Republicans sat home and did not vote. That could make a difference between wining and losing.

So, the argument that Trump has to change his platform and that GOP has to pander to globalist, open border policies, is a bogus, trumped up argument, which I suspect was concocted by our ruling elite, which seeks cheap foreign labor to achieve maximum profits. In reality, the most impact, the most bang for the buck will come from activating the silent majority, dormant middle class, the rest of the nation, which represents 92% of the voting electorate and Trump is right, the best way to do so, is by showing the way to make America great again and by bringing American jobs back to American citizens.

        1. Latinos were also a larger share of the nation’s electorate in 2012, making up a record 8.4% of all voters, up from 7.4% in 2008. However, while 11.2 million Latinos voted in 2012, an even greater number—12.1 million—chose not to vote even though they were eligible to do so.Jun 3, 2013

Great article! Good critical thinking here. You are right in that the Hispanics know that the Demoncats have been promising amnesty for years. They are already being given welfare so those two issues sew it up for them. The blacks have been imbedded in the welfare state for so long that it’s all they know. They will vote Democrat also. Trump shouldn’t even be concerned about those two groups. He should keep the rallying cry to the True Patriots who are the backbone of the country. The hard working, law abiding, tax paying Christian Right. That is who will flood the polls in the next election.

It has always been my opinion that is was one of their goals for the fast-track amnesty or legalization of the illegals to be able to claim the voter base they represent. whether they actually vote or not would not matter since it is all done by “voter fraud” any how. They only want to claim their vote to help justify their made-up numbers.

Gov Gilmore (R-VA) sounding hyperbolic saying that Trump wanted to load Illegals on to boxcars (hinting at Nazism), and the host, with Bill Hemmer’s replacement today snottily saying that Trump did NOT understand the 14th amendment. So now we get SNIDE anti-Trump remarks from Fox commentators….Gilmore is understandable as he can lie to get ahead in the polls (he thinks) but it seems Megyn’s Friends and Colleagues are not happy with El Donaldo and will let viewers know in whisper campaigns.

The thing that will prove the proof of the pudding will be…

how much treason will be executed behind the scenes, to blow another opportunity for America to come marching back to save this Country!

We have just too many lazy slobs, ignorant folks from the hills…just satisfying their own proclivities, and this has to stop!

The men from 1776/1812 demand our inheritance be a hell of a lot more stable and destiny oriented…

This other “crap of conscience” is absolutely worthless as all the nwo/treasonous/drug sucking scum put together!

Do we really want to save this Country? I say YES! But if the military higher ups don’t set their butts on fire, then, it’s up to us to wave the RED, WHITE, and BLUE!

And am glad to hear about the 200 generals/admirals wake up to finally see the fireworks in the sky and the 4th of July!

G.D. Ripleys wouldn’t believe this mass insanity! Go Trump!

Judy, you’re right. The Gov of SC called for removing the Rebel flag. Walmart removed it from their inventory. Will they now remove the Gay flag??

I think the real question should go out to Ben Carson in order to prove hes for all people regardless of color. Following the SC shooting he demanded the Repub Natl Committe come out and officially call the shooting a race hate crime. Let’s see if we hear him demand the Democratic Black Caucus officially declare the Va shooting a Gay Race Hate Crime. I bet he doesn’t which will tell us he’s just like Obama.

What groups determines elections? It`s very simple. William Frey, one of the country`s leading demographers and a major expert on immigration, says “An election is determined primarily by white voters.”

White voters make up 86 percent of all voters in the ‘most competitive states’, and “so an election is won by the majority of white votes.

So if the Hispanic vote is not so important (and it isn’t) and the white vote is, then a political party`s strategy needs to adjust to that reality. It needs to think hard about how to win and keep the white vote, far more than it currently has been.
