Obama’s policies had nothing to do with Russian rouble temporary drop and current resurgence.
Yesterday, as I was driving my car, I listened to Limbaugh show, when one of the callers stated that Russian rouble drop was due to Obama’s successful foreign policy.
I looked up the charts. First of all, after a short temporary drop to 66 roubles to a dollar, Russian rouble is back up and it is 52 roubles per dollar.
Second of all, this short temporary drop had nothing to do with Obama and Obama’s policies. Saudi Arabia tried to expand its market share and dropped the price of oil per barrel. Because oil and gas represent 45% of Russian exports, it caused a temporary drop in Russian rouble, which went back up again. This had nothing to do with Obama.
A couple of years ago oil was as high as 144 dollars per barrel. However, with expanded energy production, oil prices were gradually going down. By the beginning of 2014 oil fell from the high of 144 to 11o per barrel. It was going down during the year till 80 in November and there was a drop to 60 in December due to actions by Saudi Arabia. It seems that for the time being the oil prices stabilized around $60 per barrel.

NFL star mentions OBAMA and DICTATOR in same breath: (WND) Just this week, prior to the Denver Broncos taking on the Cincinnati Bengals on “Monday Night Football,” Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young raised some eyebrows when he used the word “dictator” in a sentence mentioning President Obama and an NFL quarterback.
Young, the former San Francisco quarterback who’s a direct descendant of Brigham Young, was asked how Denver quarterback Peyton Manning would deal with the disguises. put forth by the Bengals’ defense.
“Watch for Peyton to speak to the nation, as the president of the United States would speak to the nation tonight,” said Young, now an ESPN analyst. “And tell them, ‘I am the dictator! I am the one that’s going to take care of everything.”
