now Democrats are seeking criminal charges against JP Morgan

Orly, sign the petition by Daily Kos and CREDO to the U.S. Justice Department demanding they file criminal charges of mortgage fraud against J.P. Morgan Chase.

Federal prosecutors have told the public for years that they lack the clear evidence to bring criminal charges against big banks for mortgage security fraud.

But Alayne Fleischmann—a former securities lawyer who worked as a diligence manager for J.P. Morgan Chase—personally witnessed wrongdoing (as reported in a breathtaking account in Rolling Stone Magazine) and even attempted to notify her superiors.

For eight years, Fleischmann told her story of fraud to regulators and government lawyers—only to watch the Department of Justice settle with J.P. Morgan Chase out of court with no admission of guilt, and a much lighter penalty that they were able to write off on their taxes.

Alayne Fleischmann could face legal, financial, and career repercussions for sharing her story. It’s up to us to make sure it isn’t in vain.

Sign the petition by Daily Kos and CREDO to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder: No more excuses. Time for criminal charges against JPMorgan Chase.

Keep fighting,
Paul Hogarth, Daily Kos

You need to talk about the regulators responsible for the oversight who actually created and mandated this corruption. Bush tried 21 times to get Fannie Mae Freddie Mac fixed before it caused the financial collapse we are in today. Dodd filibustered it and he and those in the DNC should be on trial. Jamie Gorelick, who was famous for the wall named after her that she constructed between the CIA and FBI during the Clinton era that prevented Atta and his terrorist from being arrested before they could bring down the Trade Center, also was involved in the Fannie Mae Freddie Mac corruption and left that organization with millions in bonuses for showing a profit when they were losing billions. The Junk mortgage scheme was created and mandated by democrats. Hiding behind charges of discrimination with threats from the democrats to those who did not loan to people we knew could not afford it. The record proves that nobody, not even the U.S. treasury could and the deficit proves it.

It’ll never happen. Morgan Chase is in the top layer of the cartel that controls the government, the media, the justice system, and everything else needed for control of the planet.
