Given the ISIS call for attacks on American shopping malls, schools, churches and other “soft targets”, it could be that were he Muslim and unstable, the sudden spate of mall attacks could have been triggered by the call to jihad. An desperate or angry individual might just decide to go out in a big way. No evidence that this was the case with DeSai, just speculation at this point. But that, Karen, is what his religion might have to do with it. But all that’s speculation just yet.
