My take on CNBC debate and moderators. Was Becky Quick from CNBC any more hostile than Megyn Kelly from FOX? Here is the answer

Yesterday CNBC conducted the third Republican debate. I watched FOX afterwards and FOX hosts went out of their way attacking moderators at CNBC, saying this day will go down in infamy as the day of terrible journalism.

I would agree that John Harwood was snarky, however I would like to compare this debate to the first debate conducted by FOX, which is known as the conservative network.

In my opinion FOX was much more hostile to the front-runner Trump than CNBC and I am convinced that FOX, which is widely known as the mouthpiece of the GOP establishment, had marching orders to take down the anti-establishment outsider, Trump.  FOX debate started with Brett Baier asking candidates to raise their hands if they will consider a third party run. Baier knew that Trump will be the only one who will raise his hand and the question was clearly aimed at embarrassing Trump, evoking boos from the largely conservative audience and demoralizing Trump.

The second question of the FOX debate came from Megyn Kelly, who asked Trump about some negative remarks he made about Rosie O’Donnell and some other women. Let’s compare this question with questions asked at CNBC. Becky Quick of CNBC did not ask Trump about some nonsense, about adjectives he used talking about Rosie, she asked Trump a substantive question about H1 visas, a legitimate immigration issue. It is interesting that Ted Cruz and Marko Rubio did not dare to push back against Megyn Kelly and Brett Baier, as they knew that they need to be on good terms with them, to be invited to FOX. All of the GOP candidates attacked the moderators on CNBC because they know that CNBC audience will not vote for them anyways, CNBC, as all of the NBC affiliates consists of flaming leftists, their audience consists of flaming leftists so they felt comfortable and secure lashing out.

In my opinion, someone like Megyn Kelly from FOX is more dangerous than Becky Quick from CNBC. Becky Quick and the rest of the CNBC cruw are openly leftists and conservative audience took their questions and remarks with the grain of salt. However, Megyn Kelly works for FOX, the audience believes her to be a conservative and trust her to be unbiased. In reality, Megyn Kelly is an establishment puppet and is clearly pushing the establishment agenda pretending to be impartial towards different GOP candidates.  Some 60,000 FOX viewers signed a petition to Rupert Murdock and Roger Ailes to ban Megyn Kelly from future presidential debates, however it appears that FOX seeks to aid the establishment, most likely seeking to promote someone like Rubio and Kelly will be a moderator during the presidential debate in January in spite of the petition and in spite of the her prior biased performance.

Now, going to candidates. I believe that all of the candidates did a decent job, nobody made any glaring errors. Instant polls on Drudge, Life magazine and CNBC show Trump winning the debate. Future polls might show different results. Pundits believed that Rubio, Cruz and Christie won.

So, when I am looking at the positive or negative performance at the debate, I am trying to look a couple steps ahead and see, who will it benefit in the long run. For example, Cruz did well and many conservatives thought that his lashing out at media will benefit him. My question is, from whom will he pull votes? Cruz will not pull votes from Rubio or Bush, as totally different people vote for the establishment candidates like Rubio  and conservatives like Cruz. So, Cruz can pull votes from either Trump or Carson. All the latest polls show that Trump’s support is more solid, his voters are sure in their support of Trump. Carson’s support is more fluid, so in the long run Cruz’s good performance will likely benefit Trump, as Cruz is more likely to pull votes from Carson.

Next, Christie did well, however Christie is too far behind and is not likely to be the nominee, so his rise is likely will simply mean some lost votes from fellow establishment candidates, like Bush, Rubio or Fiorina.

At the end, in my opinion, the debates give candidates a temporary bump in the polls which largely dissipates. We have seen this happening with Fiorina. Prior to the debates she had only 2-3%. Second debate gave her a post-debate bump and one poll from CNN showed her reaching 15% and establishment reporters, like Howie Kurtz, predicted that she will lead the race, however that was not meant to be. Fiorina dropped back to 3%.

At the end, this debate is just one of nine debates and a small part of the campaign.    Most importantly, the candidates will need  to continue with the bread and butter of the campaign: rallies, interviews, commercials, fund raising in order to reach out to voters and address the most important issues, such as a massive loss of millions of American jobs due to disastrous trade agreements, such a NAFTA, WTO-GATT and upcoming TPP. They will need to address the disastrous effects of open borders and illegal immigration, effect of the job outsourcing and open borders on our ballooning astronomical debt and joblessness among young Americans and minorities.    The candidates will need to have powerful teams to be ready to fight an expected rigging by the establishment polling organizations and expected rigging of the election by the ruling establishment. Particularly the anti-establishment candidates will need teams of international observers to examine the election results and fight for clean elections.

    Any one of the Republican candidates would make a better president than Hilary. Despite whatever flaws they have I believe they are sincere in their love of the country whereas Hillary is only in love with herself.

    I agree Jerry G. that is a great point. Any GOP candidate would be able to fix what ails us. But the most conservative one would do the best job. Orly, the third party question reflects the political strategy used by liberals to use third party conservatives to split the vote. Trump has promised not to elect another democrat by splitting the vote. That is different than whether or not he would a as third party. It indicates how democrats use deceit and misleading questions for their treachery.

    If the honest polls show that the only way to beat the democrats is for Trump to run alone that is a no brainer. The democrats are crazy.

    And…I don’t have cable/satalite, so couldn’t watch! But I knew who was going to “rock the audience” with his seismographic truth!

    And Trump should know that those polls in Iowa are nothing but the establishment trying to con him with their lying B.S. about “who” is in front of the pack!

    So…don’t let them bother you, Trumper, as these people are running scared that their NWO is “going so far down,” that they’ll come out in commie china!!! Evil will be on its way out!

    I agree that bimbo kelly was worse than Quick. They both tried to take out Trump/candidates but as you say, kelly is disguised as a right leaner.
