This is really scare tactics. As a former licensed FFL dealer and Ammunition manufacturer, i can tell you that this so called explosive material is in all reality, Smokeless propellant, and not explosive Black Powder. There is a Big Big difference. I’ve been loading my own for over 35 years and i know my stuff. Smokeless powder burns, it does not explode. The only reason it has been declared a hazardous material is because of the government paranoia after 9-11-2001.
You could go to a Walmart and buy a box of ammo and ride on a city bus. However, you could not take that bus with a car battery or a can of Gasoline. They are really hazardous material.Don’t believe me, check your State laws and DOT regs.
