They will tell you to go pound sand, bitch. You aren’t entitled to anything because nothing has been decided at this point. You have to first prove that you have standing which you do not have. The case is going to be tossed. I guarantee you. The court is merely taking advantage of this to get more information from the US attorney as to what the DHS plans to do to address his concerns in the meaningless order he wrote last December. It’s called grand standing. He can’t impose the injunction and if he did, it would be quickly taken to the 5th Circuit and they would over turn it. The court has to follow the law and he knows it. |

Everyone knows it’s meaningless, including Judge Hanen. He may be politically biased and in violation of his oath of office, but he isn’t so retarded as to believe his order is valid.

Is the Obama administration looking to stir up more trouble in Ferguson? “Protest marshals” from the same Department of Justice division that organized protests against George Zimmerman in the aftermath of the shooting of Trayvon Martin have been deployed to the troubled city. It is being reported that these DOJ agents will be “conducting training” for Ferguson protesters that will focus on “best practices for participating in protests”. Local officials in Missouri hope that this will help defuse the situation, but if history is any guide it may end up doing just the opposite. According to the head of Judicial Watch, the Community Relations Service of the Department of Justice “has a record of racially inflammatory rhetoric that is extreme in ideology and cynical in its politics”. Could these Ferguson protests ultimately be used to take us to the next level in the inflammation of racial tensions in America?

Donna,
Having parsed the message to Orly, I see no reason that the writer should be arrested. True, he insulted her but that is something people do everyday and is not a crime. Nowhere does the writer threaten violence or harm to Orly or anyone else. He merely stated his opinion on her standing in the case along with his opinion of why the case was allowed to proceed as well as his prediction of the outcome of the case. None of those issues are criminal.
To call for someone’s arrest for simply stating their opinion goes against the grain of America’s ideals and virtues.

Yes, Starlight, I am happy to report that the small city where I live still has two Catholic Churches, a Synagogue, many Protestants churches and a Mormon Church open for business. Both of our city’s newspaper’s are still printing the news and publishing letters to the editor. Twice a month, the citizens are allowed to attend city council meetings and speak openly to the members and the mayor, an act I have performed many times. Quite often, one finds protesters on the traffic island of our main street, both liberal and conservative. Political parties are free to use our library’s auditorium for meetings.
I have no idea where you live, but I can tell you that the spirit of the First Amendment is strong in my community. Plus, consider the fact that you and I are able to have this discussion without fear of repercussions from the government and I think yu will agree that the spirit of the First Amendment is alive and well.
One last note, I am a strong believer in Voltaire’s statement, ” I may not agree with what you say but will defend until death your right to say it.”

Just wanted to let you know I have read your post. Your town sounds like Utopia. I hope that the usurper/muslim/maniac never locates a town with American ideals, such as yours is.
We may be rid of him before that happens.
Ostensibly, we may still have the benefits of free speech, but behind the scenes is a different agenda. Look at what happened with Snowden, a man with courage, as well as caring for what happens to his country, living in exile for self-preservation.
If the enemy within, and we know who that is, could eliminate him, they would do so in a moment, w/o a second thought.
The web of Obama is tenuous and the spider within is a poisonous species.
