Many congressmen are planning to vote no on the compromise on the debt ceiling

Posted on | July 31, 2011 | 2 Comments

Compromise achieved by Boehner gives very little leverage to the Republicans. Balanced budget amendment is not tied to the agreement. Cuts are very minimal and are on the back end, in some 10 years. there is no rush. Default fears are artificially created. Please, continue calling your congressmen and urge them to vote no on the deal. Obama is not allowed to touch Social Security, he is defrauding senors by telling them, that the checks will not come out. He can prioratise spending, just as treasurer-controller of Minnesota did for 3 weeks just recently. Tell them, the deal is too problematic and does not allow for real solutions to the drunken sailor spending of Obama

Thank you for taking the time out of a busy schedule to help us understand the Debt Ceiling debate.

With a monthly income of under $1,100 (after taxes — yep, as small as the income is, I still pay taxes) I manage to pay my own utilities, rent on the apartment, and groceries … all without any government assistance of any kind … no special government-sponsored programs at all, not even food stamps. If I can live within my means, those congressional critters can do the same. I keep my message to them simple:

    Get out of my wallet.
    Get out of my life.
