I’m not sure if this has anything to do with 0bama’s CT SS#, but I was looking around on Google and came across articles about “I Love Lucy,” an old sitcom. Doris Singleton played Carolyn Appleby on later episodes of the show when they moved from NYC to CT. BUT in her first appearance on the show, her name is Lillian Appleby.

I just wonder if there are any coincidences…

    I got this information from “Wilton Library Association, Inc.”

    From the “Wilton Bulletin” June 7, 1978 page 2.

    Mrs. Lillian Appleby,
    Dies at Her Home

    Mrs. Lillian Conners Appleby,
    ;7 of Twin Oak Lane, the widow
    of the late Arthur Appleby, died
    Saturday, June 3 at her home.
    She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
    and had lived most of her life in
    Bridgeport and Stepney. She
    moved to Wilton 15 years ago to
    make her home with her daughter,
    Mrs. william Scott.
    Mrs. Appleby was a member of
    the Wilton Golden Age Club.
    The Rev. Zdenek Bednar of
    the Wilton Congrgational Church
    officiated at the funeral
    service at the Wilton Funeral
    Home on Tuesday, June 6.
    Burial was in Stepney Village
    Cemetery in Monroe.”

    Looks like a typo at “;7” must have meant “87”

    Anyway, this is just another piece of the puzzle.
