Let’s hope McCain can make it for 3 and a half more weeks, until May 30th. On May 30th Governor of AZ can appoint his replacement and avoid losing the seat to Democrats

McCain is suffering from an aggressive brain cancer. He was diagnosed last July. The average life expectancy is 1 year. For older patients, like 81 year old McCain, it is less than a year.

McCain hasn’t been in the senate since mid December for the last four and a half months. McCain recently went through another surgery and another round of radiation.

Arizona law is such that if a senator resigns or passes away before May 30th, there will be a new election. If he resigns or passes away on or after Mary 30th, the governor will appoint a new senator to serve until 2020.

Due to large migration from California and large Hispanic migration, Arizona has become more blue, even though both AZ senators and all top state-wide officials are Republicans. Trump beat Clinton in Az only by 4%.

GOP is praying that McCain can hold on to his seat for the next 3 and a half weeks till May 30th.

In my opinion AZ governor, Doug Ducey should appoint former State Senator Dr. Kelly Ward to the position.

Ward is now running head to head in the primary for Jeff Flake’s seat with Congresswoman Martha McSally. The primary is in August, the winner will face a Democrat, Congresswoman Kirsten Cinema. Currently, according to polls, McSally is doing slightly better against Cinema. For that reason, I believe that Ducey should appoint Ward after McCain resigns on May 30th. This will free badly needed cash for McSally. She would be able to concentrate on the general election.

    One question is what McCain wants. If he hates Trump as much as some people think, he might decide he is too sick to continue serving and resign before May 30. Also, there are rumors that he is working on a deal with Governor Ducey to appoint Cindi McCain when he dies…

    WASH POST, troubled past. Very poor type

    replacement for John McCain. Tell em, true,

    Arpaio is 85. He is too old for a 6 year term. If this were a house seat, perhaps, but not the Senate. Sad, but true.

    I think McCain is as evil as they come. He was never a Citizen of the United States. He was born at the Colon Panama Hospital. The proof is all over the internet. He always claimed he was born in the Panama Canal. The United States never owned one inch of the Panama Canal. The Hays-Banau-Varilla Treaty gave the United States use only of the Canal and nothing else and Kicked the United States out when they shot some 22 students trying to put up the Panama flag to fly along side the American flag. And what about the incident where McCain killed some 132 sailors when he did a wet start of his jet. He has not even been punished foe the incident. Both his father and grandfather were fleet admirals. Remember when Pelosi passed an amendment to make McCain a citizen so he could run for President which was not even ratified by 3/4 of the States. Is not the man as evil as they come? There is magazine on the news stand today calling McCain a hero. A real bad joke.
