Less people die from hurricanes now tha before due to advanced warnings. In 1900 between 8,000 to 12,000 died in Galveston hurricane

Death toll from hurricanes typically includes the number of people that died during and right after the hurricane due to flooding and flying debris. typically 59% die from drowning which is caused by flooding.
In 1900 in Galveston hurricane 8,000 to 12,000 died due to hurricane.
Today, due to advanced warnings coming from satellites, we know when the hurricanes will hit, people are being evacuated and the number of deaths went down drastically.
Last year in Hurricane Harvey, which is similar to Galveston 1800 hurricane, only about 50 people died. While every life is precious, this number is minuscule compared to 8,000- to 12,000 that died in 1900.
When we talk about Hurricane Maria, right after the hurricane, there were 16 reported deaths and shortly thereafter it was increased to 64.
Computer models were created by the Uni of Washington, where they claim that within a year after the hurricane there were 3,000 more deaths on the island that were predicted based on previous years, so they believe that those deaths are connected to the hurricane based on their computer model.
Firstly, computer models are known to be wrong. Based on the computer models use by Al Gore, the polar caps were supposed to melt and disappear a couple of years ago, and those polar caps are live and well.
Computer models are not statistics, are not accurate data.
Accurate data showed only 64 deaths in Puerto Rico due to hurricane.
Reporting and statistics need to be consistent. If with all the hurricanes before, we counted only deaths due to Hurricane per se, such as drownings due to flooding and deaths due to flying debris, then the same method should be used in Puerto Rico and this consistent method shows only 64 deaths, not 3,000.
Further more, time to speak up the truth. People and businesses in Puerto Rico do not pay any federal taxes. The rest of us pay up to 40% in federal taxes. They pay zero. Puerto Ricans were supposed to pay higher territorial (akin to state) taxes in order to pay for proper maintenance of their electrical grid, roads and emergency supplies. This was not done. Even though Puerto Ricans did not pay any federal income taxes, they did not use this saved money to improve their electric grid, roads and build supplies, which they should have done in order to prepare for hurricanes and other disasters.
Moreover, Puerto Rico issued more bonds then they could cover. The money raised from bods were squandered.
Some are saying that people died months later due to infections caused by lack of clean water, emergency supplies and due to lack of electricity, however this is not the fault of president Trump. This is the fault of Puerto Rico government that mismanaged the island for decades and did not built proper infrastructure and did not build proper emergency supplies to be ready for the hurricanes, even though Puerto Rico is an island and hurricanes are a common occurrence there.

Dr. Orly,
All of this is so true. “The truth will set you free”, works well for honorable people. It means nothing to Dems.
