Potential 2012 GOP presidential contender Donald Trump is doubling down on his call for President Barack Obama to produce a birth certificate, saying “facts are emerging” that have raised a “real question” as to whether Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president.

Trump said the president has spent “millions of dollars” in legal fees to “trying to get away from this issue.”

The billionaire’s remarks came Monday morning in an exclusive interview with Fox & Friends co-hosts on Fox News.

Trump said when he initially raised the issue last week on ABC’s The View, he believed President Obama was born in the United States and should simply produce the birth certificate to clear up any questions.

As recently as Thursday, Trump told Newsmax in an exclusive interview: “I assume that Obama was born in the United States. I assume he was probably born in Hawaii.”

    Not only was Obama born in Kenya (1957), he was recruited, during those months he dropped out of Columbia U. in 2001, to work as an operative to help plant the 23 micro-thermite charges in the 23 steel columns in WTC2,about 30 minutes before the “hijacked” plane crashed into it.
    Ask ANY NYC firefighter! And ask about how WTC7 was demolished!
    The BC certificate is the LEAST of his problems!
    Donald Trump knows this- We predict he will expose this before next November.

    As it just happened in the Middle East, where the people got rid of Muslim Tyrants in power, so are we experiencing here, as We The People will get rid of a muslim usurper in power.. G-D bless it should happen in the very near future, Amen!

    I think the women of the View are going to regret asking Trump about this issue. At the time, he wasn’t well informed, and did not consider it a ‘big deal’. Now, on Greta last night, he said he considers it a VERY BIG DEAL. The more info we supply Trump with, the more I think he will pursue the truth. I sure hope so!! It is way past time for the truth to come out, and Orly and the birthers be vindicated!!
