It Begins: Democrat Calls on All Football Players to Disrespect US Flag and Kneel During Anthem

My opinion is that Koepernick is now unemployed after he was making $12 million a year. I believe, it is  a warning to other players: you can express your first amendment speech by kneeling, but the owners can express their first amendment rights too and their right not to enter into a contract with players who are disrespecting the flag. Colin Koepernick’s unemployment is a lesson to every player who is considering not to stand for the national anthem

It should begin: I call on patriotic Americans who attend NFL games to stand for and hold your right hand over your heart during the National Anthem, loudly boo if even one NFL player kneels during, or otherwise disrespects, the National Anthem, then leave the stadium.

But James, those freedoms include taking a knee during the National Anthem. I may not like it, you may not like it, it may be wrong, but it is a fundamental 1st amendment right.

NFL is a private organization. They can set the rule that all players have to stand for the national anthem or get fired immediately. They should do it. Only one owner, who happens to be a Pakistani Muslim, supports disrespect of the flag.
