In a rare public acknowledgment of those who dispute his birthplace, President Barack Obama told ABC News on Thursday that the “conspiracy theories” of Donald Trump and others could hurt Republicans in a general election.

It “creates, I think, a problem for them when they want to actually run in a general election where most people feel pretty confident the President was born where he says he was, in Hawaii. He– he doesn’t have horns…we’re not really worrying about conspiracy theories or– or birth certificates,” Obama told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

“The truth of the matter is that I think that the vast majority of Americans across the country – Democratic or Republican – really want this election to be about growing the economy, getting control of the deficit, preparing the future for our kids.

“And my suspicion is that anybody who is not addressing those questions…Is going to be in trouble. I think they may get a quick pop in the news. They may get a lot of attention. But ultimately, the American people understand this is a serious, sober time.”

GOP strategist Karl Rove had earlier said not only that the birthplace conspiracy could not only hurt Republicans, but suggested the fires of the alleged plot had been fanned by the White House for that very reason.

Republican presidential hopeful Tim Pawlenty agreed, telling MSNBC, “I, for one, do not believe we should be raising that issue. … I think President Obama was born in the United States.”

Donald Trump has called for Obama to release his birth certificate.

At a minimum, if he does not reveal his birth certificate, he cannot — and should not — be allowed to run for a second term.”

   How will & can we physicly remove the illegal occupants of the White House? Normally a County Sheriff would be involved with an eviction of Felons or Undesirables. Do u know or have u researched the avenue for their evictions & arrests? If anyone knew the procedeure involved, I am almost positive it would have been done by now….The Secret Service Agent’s get paid by “We the People” or do they get paid by the Federal Reserve?     As to the gist of your comment, American history is replete with know-nothings… perhaps such as you… who shoot from an empty chamber.

    You have no basis other than blind, unreasoned hatred, for casting venom on Orly. She is trying, and likely to succeed, in toppling the greatest criminal enterprise to ever be at the top in this country. And the likes of you have the fanciful chutzpah to condemn her actions.     All good posts! When we discuss what Obama is hiding, let us consider, too, that he may be (either) hiding something wild?

    Or he is just pranking us off, so that he can “play us” long enough until the next election, then, pull the “rabbit from his hat”?

    Remember him and Soros and the NWO crowd are capable of trying just about anything to achieve their goal: of world domination! And they’ve used him to become the “judas-goat!”

    I will reiterate my thoughts about O-Bozo. In the uS Senate race in Illinois, he(O-Bozo)got a judge in CA to release the divorce records of Jack and Gerry Ryan. This was the first time in our history this has ever happened. This proved to me at the time that O-Bozo is dirty Street fighter and a lying hypocrite of the lowest order.     The process to get obama out; on criminal charges starts with the congress
    they have the power to supboema, and in conjunction with the Justice Dept, which still works for the people, carry out the impeachment process first, then a criminal proceeding, then a trial, then a conviction, then a sentencing, then an execution, if found guilty of treason when the country is at war.

    Seems like a 40 year journey to nowhere as this congres cannot even get a fair budget passed.

    2 Glaring facts that make this whole mess insane.

    1) By his own admission Barry is not a Natural Born citizen. This is where the legal focus must begin. A Natural born Citizen is born of two American Parents. The American parents can be Immigrants, however they must not born the child before 7 years AFTER naturalization. Where in the hell is the conspiracy theory in that? Just obey the damn law period!! He can’t be impeach he can only be arrested for fraud and such. Because he is not the legal president he does not have the right to an impeachment trial. Common law. I know since NAFTA we are no longer a nation of law rather a nation of whim.

    2) No record can be found anywhere in which ole Barry, “of Kenya”, to quote archived Chicago newspapers, that he ever repatriated or legally changed his name from Soetoro to Obama.

    No conspiracy need be involved. His own admission of fraud is enough for him to be perp walked out of the White House. But consider this when it comes to the rule of law. Our society and the aspect law has broken down to the point we cant find it appropriate to deport illegal alien murderers. Even child rapist murderers like George W. Bush testified on his behalf to avoid the death penalty and attempt to secure release for him to just walk back across the border.
