   The reverend William Kunisch remembered her offering to do what she could to help St. Theresa. “I re-appointed her to the pastoral council, the finance council, and the school board.” Kunisch said. “Sometimes, she was here at the church more than I was.”

   Over and over, those at the service – especially those who worked with her almost on a daily basis, reflected on Loretta Jean Deliana Antone Fuddy’s dedication and commitment to the people of Hawaii.

   Representative Suzanne Chun Oakland was overcome by the tribute to Loretta Fuddy. “Deliana really means a lot to us and she really, really cared about our families and our children. I know we have to keep her legacy alive. She’s done such remarkable things for all of us.” Oakland said.
