Important, read between the lines in this e-mail from Senator Coburn, R-OK

While clearing some files, I have JUST come across this reply from Dr. Coburn that got overlooked (I get over 80 emails a day), so I will have to get back to him.
He’s as stubborn as I am, the difference is that he is WRONG!

Dear Mr. Irish,
Thank you for contacting me regarding President Obama’s eligibility for office and Dr. OrlyTaitz. As always, it is good to hear from you.
First andforemost, Dr. Taitz did meet with my Chief of Staff when she was in WashingtonD.C. My Chief of Staff reported back tome that the meeting went well, and that he and Dr. Taitz had a meaningfuldiscussion; however my position on the President’s eligibility for office hasnot changed.
In closing, I would like to berather frank with you. I believePresident Obama’s own actions have demonstrated to the American people that heshould not be re-elected for another term as president. I strongly recommend you focus your effortson promoting policies you agree with-such as a return to the Constitution and alimited federal government-rather than continuing to push for impeachment. The high rate of unemployment and ourexploding national debt and deficit make a compelling case for why PresidentObama’s liberal agenda has not been successful, and I believe focusing on thesepolicies is a more successful strategy than continuing to focus on the birthrecords.
Again, thankyou for contacting me. Best wishes.
Sincerely,
Tom A. Coburn,M.D.
United StatesSenator

Please, read carefully this letter from Senator Coburn, member of the Senate Judiciary committee. He acknowledges, that I had a meeting with his chief of staff. He no longer claims, that Obama is legitimate and that Obama is a natural born citizen. He simply says that he currently believes, that removing him out of office during the election is a better strategy, than impeachment. Wait till September 2012. If the Republican nominee is behind (be it Ronmney or Gingrich or somehere else), the priority in strategies might change and probably will change.
Orly

I’m afraid that Coburn is just another spineless Republican who refuses to live up to his oath of office. Just hoping that Obama will be unseated at the next election doesn’t mean that he will be. If Obama is reelected we can thank the Republicans.

Who, on earth , is “pushing for impeachment”?
One doesn’t “impeach” a USURPER; such an ill-advised course of action would have the devastating result of lending legitimacy to that which is , clearly, illegitimate
‘Quo Warranto’ is the remedy one seeks for dealing with a USURPER

I think it is much more important that this country be returned to the rule of law than any particular party wins at the polls. If there have been crimes they should be prosecuted and punished. At this point party politics are secondary. If we can get this country running according to the rule of law we will be in a much better situation to deal with political issues later.
If we don’t force the government to follow the law, things will only deteriorate. We are in a sorry state now but it can get much, much worse. That is the real problem. The direction into anarchy we are now headed. Jailing those people who have committed crimes of because they were afraid of the consequences to their career might seem harsh but there is no other way to make sure future leaders do their duty.
We the people have to force our leaders to do their duty. Otherwise they will enrich themselves at our expense and drive this country to ruin.

I think you are reading too much between the lines. He says his position on legitimacy hasn’t changed. That’s pretty clear,

You are right, Dr Orly; they wish it would all just go away.
But think of all that Usurperama has wrought-Supreme Court nominations, legislation, executive decisions ad infinitum…does Sen Coburn wish America to be tainted forever by crime and an attack on the Constitution? He needs to wake up and smell the coffee (or shall we say TEA? 🙂
God bless

The truth is, most Republicans are for the status quo. Sen. Kyl,McCain, Rep. Ben Quayle are complicit in covering for barry soetero. In a meeting with a Rep. committee chair he confirmed the Repubs are Dems. They are only Repubs by name not by conservative values. In all candor, we need an entire sweeping out of existing politicians. Corruption is stage 5 level in DC.

Senator Coburn strongly recommends we focus our attention on a “…return to the Constitution…”? Well, Senator Coburn et al in Congress, we strongly recommend you honor the Oath of Office you took to uphold, defend and protect the Constitution!

Yes, I definitely see how his letter can be read that way. Orly, you should follow up with Mr. Coburn’s Chief of Staff.

This is about the stupidest thing I have ever read, except for maybe when a chief of staff told me to try to get something passed by the legislature after it had just failed (no he didn’t know that it had already failed).
“I strongly recommend you focus your efforts on promoting policies you agree with-such as a return to the Constitution”
excuse me Senator, just what the heck do you think Ms. Taitz has been trying to do? Idiots.
