I received this obituary for Laurie Hathaway’s mother. I believe that this is the same Laurie Hathaway who spoke to me, but I am not 100% sure, as she works in Albany and Virgil NY is 2 and a half hours drive from Albany. Last time I called Laurie Hathaway, who works at HESC, I was told that FBI is investigating her and she is concerned. I hope she would get some courage to speak up and produce the docs. Look, how much harassment I have to overcome, if I can do it, so can others

Sylvia U. Knowlton

 

Sylvia U. Knowlton, age 77, of 1216 Daisy Hollow Road, Dryden passed away Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY surrounded by her family. Mrs. Knowlton was born January 22, 1936 in Cortland, NY a daughter of the late Jonathon and Delia Moose Updyke, Jr. She was married for 53 years to Franklin C. Knowlton who passed away Feb. 25, 2011. Sylvia was graduated from Homer High School in 1953 and served as the Cortland County Dairy Princess in 1952. She was employed at Crescent Corset and later at Cortland Corset before retiring in 2004. Sylvia was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed the out of doors, spending time with her family and boating. Endless hours were spent doing needle point and crocheting gifts for the friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Laurie Hathaway of Virgil, John (Pamela) Knowlton of Homer, Jacklyn (Howard) Havington of Dryden and Nancy Knowlton of Virgil; her brother, Jerry (Melissa) Updyke and a sister, Beverly Fies; a sister-in-law Gwendolyn Updyke; grandchildren, Brandon, Benjamin, Matthew and Ashley Hathaway, Ryan and Eric Havington, Hannah Wilson and Wyatt Knowlton; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, John Updyke.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at the Perkins Funeral Home. h Rev. David H. Nicholls will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Homer, NY. Friends are invited to call from 12 to 1 PM Monday at the funeral home, 55 West Main St., Dryden, NY. Friends are asked to consider a memorial to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 or to the Dryden Veterans Memorial Home, 2160 Dryden Road, Dryden, NY 13053. www.perkinsfuneralhome.com

    NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) – A Connecticut prosecutor is asking a court to block the release of 911 recordings from the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting as he appeals an order from the state’s Freedom of Information Commission.
    The FOI commission ruled in September that the recordings of calls from inside the school should be provided to The Associated Press.

    The state’s attorney leading the investigation into the Newtown shooting, Stephen Sedensky III, has asked for the ruling to be reversed in New Britain Superior Court. A hearing is scheduled Friday on his request for a stay of the ruling while his appeal is pending.

    A gunman killed 20 children and six educators inside the school on Dec. 14.

    The AP has sought the recordings in part to examine the police response to the massacre.

    Orly has to put up with people that would like to have her killed. I have seen groups that talk about her on the internet and there are many that are tempted to assassinate her and her character. They are really fed up with her lies.

    You are the Cindy Sheehan of the Birther movement. I don’t remember the right going after her with the zeal that the left is going after you and others who believe that Obama is a fraud. Why people are so incredulous that Obama lies is amazing to me. He has been a liar his whole damn life. I am sad for people who are in the middle of their cancer treatments and find themselves kicked off their insurance because of this fraud. Keep up what you are doing. The truth will eventually prevail.

    Orly: if the court has blocked the info, that means that they are trying to keep truth from coming out!

    Also, it looks like one or more posters are showing their true colors, with snotty posts!

    If you are correct about the “Obama Regime” and how it systematically wipes out its enemies then how come you (his greatest enemy) have not been killed, poisoned, hit and run, had a heart attack?
