Having some knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and a background in intelligence, I can tell you that the Chinese site is (1) a new site, (2) especially designed to attack your web site, (3)financed by some Utah democratic party bigwig and (4) to intercept e-mails from two specific accounts.

Do you know why anybody would want to do this to you?

    1. People don’t need your permission to link to your website.

    2. Don’t you want all the linkage you can get?

Look , all anybody has to do is supply them with an email address and name to sign up. This is no different than somebody filling out a form for magazine subscriptions in your name on the post-paid envelope and sending it in.

Ignore it. You didn’t sign up. It is just some jerk messing with you.

Wow, Orly. Take a look at the bottom icon under the comments section: it looks like chinese! Is that a clue?

A lot of p.c.’s, laptops, and other electronics are made in commie china!

Orly: if the person has to enter your site to do this…who has the tech experience to do this?

The hosting company? The govt? The chinese? Anyone with real techie knowledge?

The names you listed have been there for months and months. I think the Chinese looking one is newer.

    I also note that
    https://www.fedupusa.net/ – Chrome could not find http://www.fedupusa.net

And I thought it kinda weird that you had a link to
https://www.theindianrepublic.com/ India’s latest News portal, which covers news related to politics, business, Bollywood, latest elections, Cricket and all kind of entertainments.

Most likely not. Your hosting provider sells advertising on the side bars like that. Ask them about it. It’s not anything illegal.

    Orly,

Unfortunately, WordPress blogs have exploits and you have to constantly upgrade everything weekly as well as add some security plugins.

Then, if you are hacked, the bad guys leave scripts behind to do more damage even after you have fortified your blog. So, you really have to restore files from tape backup from before the exploit, and then fortify the blog after that.

The other problem is that Windows has exploits too and keyloggers can be installed in a variety of ways without you knowing which can get your blog password. Oh, and you should have a tough blog password.

Also, some themes, even if custom, are forked from themes with security weaknesses. So, that’s another thing to look at.

I’m on my mobile phone right now, but i have a tech contact named Rutledge out of Texas who really knows WordPress and can help you get back in order, although for a fee. Email me and i will look him up on my mac and give you his contact.
