I don’t understand how it is a nuclear option to allow a vote. To me the nuclear option is not to allow a vote. To just keep arguments open in order to prevent a vote is obstruction.
I would think that if the congress can change rules to obstruct the vote we have lost our voice and no longer are a free nation. I must have missed something going through civics class, but those were the good old days.

If congress uses the “Nuclear Option” and allows a vote but an Obama appointed judge stays it and the scotus says OK, like Roberts did with Obamacare, what do we do then? Punt.
Stop paying their salaries might be a good idea.

this is a Senate internal rule, no judge can stay it, just as no judge stayed the nuclear option to use simple majority vote for Gorsuch

you do not understand what nuclear option is. This is a simple change of senate rules saying that a simple majority of 51 will stop the filibuster and the senate will vote
