    Michael James Astrue (born 1956) is an American lawyer and, under the pen name A. M. Juster, a poet and critic. He has served as Commissioner of the Social Security Administration since 2007.

    Where did the person who sent you the info about Astrue get it from? That would tell you far more than asking if anyone here can confirm it. Can you print the info you received on here? Or at least let us know where it came from?
