I don’t know who LLW is, but he or she is right: until we renegotiate or repeal NAFTA and WTO-GATT this country and Western Europe will continue going down the drain. I’ve been pushing for renegotion for years. It is more and more apparent that this is a necessity

This should be a huge red flag on the state of the economy. We are being driven into the gound by US job destruction. This is the DIRECT result of NAFTA,the other FTAS and the WTO trade agreements with China. If you look at the BLS raw data (mostly because the official numbers are heavily manipulated) and you count everyone who is unemployed or underemployed we are sitting at 12% (+). If you calculate the number of jobs we should have if we were at 67% population to employment we are 10 million jobs SHORT on top of what the BLS reports. They aren’t all moochers, most of those seeking support have never done so before. These are discarded by today’s Corporations and Governmental policy which has destroyed US jobs ON PURPOSE in order to starve the beast (US Government) to the point where the argument being driven is to destroy Social Security and the other Social Safety nets. This is not by accident. People WANT JOBS so that they can take care of their families and maintain a standard of living. This is not about having an education since we will have a GENERATION of college graduates defaulting on their loans because they cannot find employment and an educational industry pushing numbers up in order to reap a profit. All at the expense of the US citizen. We are being divided as a people in order to destroy our country. We are being invaded by illegal aliens who often can get Unemployment benefits, whereas citizens cannot. It is a sorry mess and it is planned. This has not happened overnight but it will continue to spiral out of control as long as the root cause of the on coming disaster is not addressed. It is about jobs. |
Food stamp recipients outnumber the population of 24 states combined. Dwindling number of working people and of private businesses can no longer carry on their an army of millions on moochers and an enormous governmental bureaucracy, this will end in an economic collapse and rapid devaluation of dollar. Next downgrading of the U.S. debt is around the corner 0 View Post

Unions. Labor unions. Once a good thing, now forcing jobs overseas. I heard of a local company that must offer 2 months of vacation to employees. I do not get 2 months. Do you? If I were the CEO, I would be taking the jobs overseas. Perhaps labor unions once protected employees, but have now become the slave owners of corporations struggling to compete. There are reasonable benefits and there are unreasonable benefits actually forcing companies to move. Unions. Labor unions.
Government employees “retiring” and continuing to work for government, and double dipping our taxes, as children do not get teachers and equipment. Double dipping and early retirement.
There are multiple factors forcing taxes up and jobs overseas.
Pharmaceutical companies. People are taking 30 drugs, paid for by “Medicare” and “Medicaid”…rather, paid for by our taxes, as the pharmaceutical ( many made overseas) are draining our taxes. Pharmaceutical companies. Thirty drugs for one person does not sound like a reasonable approach to health care…yet becoming very common, since “our taxes” will pay for them!
1. Labor Unions.
2. Pharmaceutical companies (white collar drug dealers).
3. Double-dipping by “early retirement” and then working again for government.
Just a few things in the mix to consider.
