I believe that the conservative Supreme Court will find packing the court with extra judges to be unconstitutional- this ploy will likely fail

Democrats are hoping to pack the court with more liberal judges when Dems will get both houses and presidency. Dems believe that they will be able to achieve this in 2020. Democratic party believes that this will be their check mate.

However, I believe that the conservative justices on the Supreme Court will play this chess game differently and will be the ones with the final chess mate. I believe that they will rule that packing the Supreme Court with extra judges is unconstitutional. I believe, that they will rule that 9 justices on the Supreme Court is a settled precedent, that partisan packing will lead to an infinite number of judges on SCOTUS in the future, and they will strike the new law Democrats are hoping to pass which  they are hopping will pack SCOTUS.

History will show whether I am right.

    If that’s their plan, perhaps President Trump should add two Justices NOW. Let’s see how the Democrats respond,and put them on record objecting.

    This Democrat idea, proves to everyone, that they believe the Court to be a Political Tool to push their unpopular political agenda.

    They would then be required to rule the same way if a Republican President wanted to add justices to ensure a majority. I think they won’t risk being painted into a corner, and would refuse to hear the case on constitutional grounds.

    Yeah…and if they would have done that earlier, they possibly wouldn’t have (3) liberals female judges on there now?

    It’s not whether there is a male/female judge being selected to the court…

    It’s whether the one is Patriotic or too left wing to keep America SAFE?

    Yeah…I think the (R)’s will see through the plan of the (D)’s…!

    They played their games with America just a little too long…

    And they’re going to pay for their indiscretions!
