Huge! Trump wins Tea Party straw poll with 52% of the vote. This comes on the heels of the ONE/Gravis poll, which showed him winning GOP nomination with over 40%

Trump got 52% of the vote in Tea Party straw poll. Additionally, 26% placed him as a second choice. This shows a total depth of support of 78%. I have to provide this caveat though. When I ran for Secretary of State of CA, I won multiple Tea Party polls with 75-80%, however it was announced that I lost the election.

    Just because he’s a big hit with the Tea Party, doesn’t necessary mean that he should get the GOP nomination. There is at least one other candidate who is doing better than him against Hillary. Rand Paul!

    not any more, Paul has only 4% of the vote and went down drastically

    But that’s only against other GOP candidates, not Hillary.

    That’s only if the GOP had brains to nominate a candidate who could actually beat the Democrats and not someone who’s only the most popular amongst Republicans.
