Greg Gianforte is leading in his house race on MT. Sen Tester’s initial lead is down to 1.7%. GOP might flip MT and end up flipping as many as 5 seats in the senate

GOP is very close to flipping MT.

GOP already flipped ND, MO and IN and Rick Scott is leading in FL with 99% counted.  GOP might end up flipping as many as 5 senate seats.

This is an amazing result. Usually party in power loses seats in both houses during midterms. In 2010 during Obama administration Democrats lost 65 seats in a huge red wave. Typically the party in power loses 5 seats in the senate during midters. Gaining 5 seats in the senate instead of losing 5 seats for the party in power is totally unheard of
