I posted several articles here and forwarded them to President Trump. I advocated for him to start pushing Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority leader, to change the filibuster rules from 60 to 51, meaning 51 senators can end the filibuster and all of the bills will be passed through the senate with 51 votes. Similar change of rules was done by Harry Read in order to confirm all of the officials of Obama administration and federal judges. Recently this change of rules was extended to confirmations for the Supreme Court, which allowed Gorsuch to get confirmed.
Now is the time for this change of rules for all votes on all bills, which would allow the Congress to confirm funding for the border wall, for all other funding and for all of Trump’s agenda.This might need to be done within the next week as government funding was extended just for 1 week.
Today FOX transmitted an interview with President Trump, where he stated that he is now seeking a change of filibuster rules to pass through the agenda.
Every reader of TaitzReport.com should call each and every one of 52 GOP senators and demand they pass the “nuclear option” or simply majority 51 vote rule to end the filibuster on all bills.
Additionally, you need to call Paul Ryan and demand a list of GOP congressmen, who refuse to vote for Obama-care repeal. We need to start running primary opponents against them to kick them out of Congress in GOP primary next year. We are done with corrupt, pathological liars who promised for 7 years to repeal O-care and now refuse to do it.
A Bloomberg News count shows at least 16 Republicans oppose the revised measure, not including Upton. The GOP can only afford to lose 22 votes from its side and still guarantee passage.
USA Today report: At least 15 members are solid “no’s” on the health care bill, and another handful are “leaning no” or undecided.
Please, call Paul Ryan, Mark Meadows and Tom McArthur, demand the names of GOP congressmen who refuse to vote for O-care repeal, advice them that the public will be contacting these 23 or so moderate Republicans and will advise them that they should keep their word and repeal O-care or we will find conservative challengers to kick them out of Congress during next years primary.

Just like “curing” symptoms instead of the illness, these cosmetic changes are both unproductive and indecent. To move on and work with the very people which caused this all (including the 2008-2016 usurpation) is futile.
Only the full exposure of the usurpation followed by prosecution and outlawing the existing parties guilty in it may deliver a blow required to crush the sabotaging crowd. It’s still possible, because parties are neither protected by the Constitution nor even mentioned in it.
It’s a long overdue. Any civilized nation would begin recovery with exposure and prosecution of the parties guilty in the disaster…

If the Republicans aren’t the ones to change the filibuster rule, the the Democrats will be the ones to do it. The nation is so evenly divided that nothing can be done with a 60 vote threshold. So the Republicans might as well be the first to use the nuclear option of simple majority vote. Otherwise, if the Democrats take the next election, they will certainly do it if the Republicans don’t. I hope the Republicans aren’t stupid enough to trust that the Democrats will not do it, because they’ve demonstrated they already have. And they will again. We are at a precipice where one of the parties will need to do it to get anything done. The people gave the Republicans all chambers and now the SCOTUS. It would be political suicide NOT to use the nuclear option.

The filibuster is obcene on the face of it for it deprives the people of their voice in the process. Why do we elect our representatives if not to vote? If they don’t do that get rid of them.

What is in the bill? It is not just a repeal it is a repeal and replace. What are the details? How can you vote on something if the media doesn’t give you accurate info on what is in the bill?

Just as the nuclear option came back to bite the Dems in the ass, reworking or revoking the filibuster will similarly come back and bite the Republicans. Since neither party stays the majority forever, its not a matter of if, but when.

I still support Trump, too, but I have to wonder. First he likes the budget deal, then he hates it, but will he sign it? I don’t believe he thinks a shutdown will be a good thing and I think he’s playing chicken with Congress.

Orly: just got through with sending a written note to Mitch McConnell’s office in D.C., and it went through.
Also, I just called his D.C. office and wanted to discuss the Nuclear Vote…but a voice sent me to the area to leave a message, but another voice came on my phone saying that messages cannot be left at this time.
Like this last line above came from someone who didn’t want any more messages for McConnell to listen to.
I could not talk with anyone! That’s how they had this set up! So they didn’t have to respond to anyone trying to get him to do his job!

Texas signed a bill to help get America to a Constitutional type Convention…
to get to 34 of the states, so they can (I assume-?) to change the Constitution-????
And this makes 11 states that have done this. But I think they need to be very, VERY careful about this wanting to be done!
