Interesting today that Sen Cruz, with Megyn Kelly, told her her question was “just like that of any mainstream liberal reporter.”
That was noteworthy given Trump’s comment today that Kelly was not a top notch journalist.
What was ODD was not Trump’s comment or Cruz’s critique of Megyn, but rather that Roger Ailes has now interjected himself into the mix demanding an apology from Trump.
We have never heard Ailes criticize Obama for the many times that the putative Potus has demeaned the network quite publicly.
For the record, Megyn DID seem flustered with Cruz’s comment on what her line of questioning seemed to him.
This story is just beginning, and one wagers Trump and Cruz have an inside scoop on Megyn that the public does not yet know.
Perhaps that she is considering a network switch?

PS… Kelly used the assumption about the 14th amendment heard all around the (BORING and UNEDIFYING) remote control, that the 14th amendment MUST be what is EMPLOYED as: Instant citizenship for any baby born here no matter the legality of the parents’ residence.
Why does Kelly NOT mention US v WON KIM ARK, which explicitly mandates PERMANENT DOMICILE and (legally) CARRYING OUT BUSINESS?
So why all THE KERFUFFLE about the 14th amendment if no one (except Judge Jeanine Pirro and Hannity) have the journalistic credibility to mention it.
Kelly is a lawyer. For her to purposefully NOT report on and analyze the 1898 case is, as Trump rightly mentions, “NOT TOP NOTCH JOURNALISM.”
