When the people fear their government, there is tyranny.
When the government fears the people, there is liberty.

I was an Army Brat for the first eighteen years of my life before I too enlisted and served twenty years before retiring.
My parents were both from northern Maine and the only reason why I was born up there was that my father had gone to
the Korean War and sent my mother home to her parents.  I was born in Houlton, ME in January 1951 and three months
later we moved to Fort Hood, TX.  Over the next ten years five more babies where born into our family.
One from Gray AFB, San Marcos, TX, another from Fort Sill, Ok, yet another from Fort Campbell, KY, and yet another
from Fort Bliss, TX.  My baby sister was born in the U.S. Army Hospital in Munich, Germany.  But we always had proud
grandparents who announced in the local paper our births.  Many years ago I saw my grandmothers scrap book which
had these newspaper clippings.  I do not recall if it said where we were born.  Just that we were born and whom our
parents were.
The other day I heard Glenn Beck state that because Obama’s birth had been posted in Hawaiian newspapers, that that
was proof positive that he was born in Hawaii.  To me all it means is that Obama had proud grandparents like my family
did.  And Glenn has the audacity to claim that we are the loony ones.
