Mississippi man, birther sues to keep Obama off ballot
Mississippi man, birther sues to keep Obama off ballot Three years and six months into President Barack Obama’s four-year term, a federal court in Mississippi still is being asked to decide whether he was born in America.
The lawsuit filed in February by Orly Taitz challenges Obama’s right to appear on the ballot in Mississippi. In response, the state Democratic Party earlier this month submitted the original official verification of Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate, the first time in more than 130 legal challenges that this document has appeared in court, Salon reported.
Their counter-argument?
The word of a sheriff in Maricopa County, Ariz.
Taitz last week asked the court to submit an affidavit from the Sheriff Joseph Arpaio into evidence. Arpaio claims that the document looks like it was tampered with if it is opened in Adobe Illustrator, a popular .pdf editor.

what exactly is the point of issueing a subpoena to arpaio?
he´ll go to the stand and be asked..
`is the PDF a forgery?´
`i believe it could be´
`can you be certain?´
`i think it could be´
`are you a forensic document analyst?´
`no´
are there any forensic document analysts in the CCP?´
`no´
`no further questions, you can stand down.´
honestly, you should realise that unsubstantiated opinions (such as those of the CCP, who have no accredited experts) count for absolutely nothing in court. it´s really a waste of both the courts time and the taxpayers money.

roadburner,
I had to laugh at your
Arpaio scenario, as I can just see/hear
it now.
He is beyond being passive.
Maybe the word is ‘innocuous’ to
describe the lack of personal involvement.
