George, yes, a la Judge David O. Carter. You will recall that in between Carter’s apparent initial sympathy in Barnett v. Obama and his unexpected dismissal of the case, he suddenly received a new law clerk (Siddharth Vijaykumar Velamoor) who had ties to Obama eligibility lawyer Robert Bauer, Columbia, and Hyderabad, India. Carter is a Marine who one would think would not back down from a fight. And Brewer is certainly no fan of Obama, as demonstrated by her past actions and statements. Yet she also backed down.

Brewer stated, “…I never imagined being presented with a bill that could require candidates for president …to submit their ‘early baptismal or circumcision certificates’ among other records. …This is a bridge too far.” Granted, the legislation’s list of alternate documents for candidates without birth certificates is a bit strange. Would Brewer sign the bill if it were passed again without the “circumcision certificate” reference? Or was that inserted into the bill to give her an excuse to veto it? I would be interested in knowing who came up with that list of alternate documents. I smell a rat…

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal states he will sign a “birther bill” if it reaches his desk. Is that a trick? Does he know such a bill will not reach his desk? If a bill does pass and he suddenly changes his mind…

I am certain there are threats and bribes all around this issue. I recall that in 1963, after Arlen Specter came up with the ludicrous “single bullet theory” for the Kennedy assassination cover-up, it was Dan Rather who reported and pushed that theory. Remember that, at the time, Rather was a nobody. He then quickly skyrocketed through the CBS ranks. Was his career boost a payback for his JFK “assistance?”

Within the media I can understand how it works. The big boss calls in lamebrains like Bill O’Reilly and says, “Lay off the birth certificate or your career is over. Play nice and you’ll stay on the air and continue to make big bucks.” That kind of conversation is certainly enough to keep the average media slug in line. For them, career is more important than country. Most of them are moral relativists anyway, so they care little about what is right and wrong. They care about ratings and salaries.

But how does one get to Judge Carter? Or Governor Brewer? Or even Supreme Court Justices? They certainly cannot be threatened with death (at least I hope not). All I can speculate is that they have been warned as follows, “Listen, you don’t know what you’re up against. If the thug in the White House is exposed and removed from office, we will see race riots across the country the likes of which you could never have imagined. Thousands may die. You owe it to your country to lay off the topic. Let it slide. We’ll make sure he loses in 2012.”

I would not accept that argument. (If I did I would not be updating The Obama Timeline every day.) But that does not mean that others would not. (Then again, if several federal agents came to my house and said, “Lay off or we cannot be responsible for what happens to you and your family,” how would I react? But have federal agents visited Brewer, Carter, 535 members of Congress, and major media talking heads? God help us if that is the case.)

We simply have to keep pushing the issue and attracting more converts to our side. During the Watergate scandal it was not a sudden revelation of facts that destroyed Nixon, it was the steady drip, drip, drip of confidence in him fading. More and more people deserted him, and he eventually had few supporters beyond those in his inner circle. The current Oval Office occupant has, of course, the advantage of a sycophantic media – which Nixon certainly did not have. Still, there is a steady drip, drip, drip. It cannot help but have an effect. At some point he may have no supporters left, beyond Michelle, Valerie Jarrett, and his “body servant,” Reggie Love.

And, despite many reservations I have about Donald Trump, if he keeps the issue in the spotlight it helps. I hope he starts to address both the issue of the meaning of natural born citizen, and Obama’s use of a stolen Social Security Number. Most Americans, who have never read the U.S. Constitution and who are stunningly ignorant of their own nation’s history, seem unable to understand that natural born does not mean native born. But I am confidant that most Americans understand that the use of a stolen SSN means only one thing: intentional fraud and committing a federal felony.

In the meantime, I hope Trump has people guarding his private jets. (I remain convinced that Clinton’s Commerce Secretary, Ron Brown, was intentionally “taken care of” with a plane crash.)

    The people who cover up are cowards and fools. I’d rather be faced with bloody riots and a chance to fight it out than have millions of fellow citizens and family members locked up in FEMA camps and/or people beheaded because they won’t adopt the Muslim faith! Thanks Don and Orly for fighting the good cause. God bless you!

    Yes Queen… Right On!

    Don, I like what you say. But the part about getting to someone in power:

    At the end you mention Ron Brown. His unfortunate air ‘accident’. I agree. Brown was hit. There’s too many accidents or other deadly occurances around Washington people.

    Congressman Hale Boggs from Arkansas was one of two on the seven member Warren Commission who disagreed with the Report that Oswald did it alone. He soon disappeared on a flight in Alaska.

    Paul Welstone, who would have been the probable victor, would have, if re-elected in 2002, tipped the Senate into Democrat hands. He was killed in a weird air ‘accident’ while campaigning. The military is known to have been working with masers for years that (I assume) could have poured kilowatts of coherent RF power into a plane’s cockpit from
    the ground. Just a for instance.

    Congresswoman Maxine Waters of L.A., who used to often publicly insist that the CIA was behind the influx of coke in Southern California and across the nation, suddenly clammed up real tight after the San Jose Mercury News reporter who did all the leg work on the story was blown up in a car bomb ‘accident’. Message delivered.

    And Vince Foster. Would you want the Fort Marcy Park police investigating a murder – a botched attempt at making it look like suicide – of one of your family members? Interesting how there were no powder burns. Whatever!

    So, could our Security/Military/Industrial Complex threaten people with death? The question is almost, “Why wouldn’t they?”

    Not death. Most likely an IRS audit over the past 20 years. Maybe they have income they couldn’t account for and failed to report.
