the state of Florida is considering moving its’ primary election to January. Until now a handful of small states had an enormous influence on the Republican party field. As a result large states and its residents had very little influence. When a large swing state like Florida goes early on, it gives a better picture, as to how the candidate will do in the general election. Republican party needs candidates, who can pick up the swing states, like Florida and Ohio. Strong wins in the primary in swing states will help determine Republican nominee early, will allow this nominee to build a war chest for the general election and concentrate on general election advertising and campaign.

It is long past time for a National Primary. What really gives Florida, SC, New Hampshire, Nevada, and Iowa the right to shape an entire national election by having “front-loaded” primaries??? The same can be said for all of this straw-poll nonsense. Consider this: If you live in one of the States near the end of the primary calendar, it is highly likely and often is the case that by the time you are ready to cast your vote in your State’s primary, the party’s nominee will have already been virtually decided by all of the other States’ primaries that preceded your State’s primary. In other words, your primary vote has been essentially nullified. Does this even sound remotely FAIR??? Of course, not. A National Primary is an equalizer. Everyone talks about voter apathy, which is a severe problem in this country. A National Primary would put it all on the line at one time just like a national election adding to the excitement factor as well and making ALL votes count everywhere. The system at the moment is rigged to make GOP RINO’s or Neocons the Party nominee. States like Nevada, Florida, Iowa, and New Hampshire can have a disproportionate number of Democrats voting in the other party’s primary, if these States allow this, giving a distorted perception to the rest of the nation that the RINO is the presumed favorite and satisfying the GOP RINO Wall Street Establishment. WE MUST STOP THIS!!!

Let me clarify the previous post. The GOP Establishment mandates the aforementioned toss-up “purple” States have the first primaries in the nation. If other States choose to move their primaries ahead of these States, the GOP Establishment has them on notice that they will penalize the delegates from that State. This, to me, shows rather transparently that the RINO GOP Establishment has rigged the system to favor a RINO candidate off the bat. These States have many Democrats that this election have the luxury of crossing over to the GOP primaries to influence the choice of a RINO for the GOP. This is even more of a reason why we need a National Primary.
