If you are old enough to serve in the military, you are old enough to own a gun. Period.

I think they should pinpoint this type of gun, especially for the young…

The handgun would be prime to not allow for that age group, unless, of course, they are working with a security company!

But no one with the type of mental acuity of those that have gunned people down should be ever allowed to be in the same vicinity of handguns.

The GOP and the Trump administration better be very careful on this one. “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” “I ask, sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few public officials.”George Mason So, here we go again. Are we going to raise the age of enlisting in the military? It’s alright for an 18 year old to go to war but he is not able to own a firearm? Unlike drinking which is not protected under the constitution, been able to own a fire arm is. We have laws against, theft, rape, illegal drugs, pedophilia, murder, drunk driving,etc.,etc.,etc. Have they stopped people from committing any of these crimes? Hell, we have laws against corruption and they have not stop politicians from braking these laws! Laws are followed by the law abiding citizens because criminals don’t give a damned about them. We don’t enforce the ones we have now but we are going to create more? BS. Now, the mentally ill is another story. How about making the families of the mentally ill responsible? Why taxpayers have always have to foot the bill because families(not all, but a lot of them)don’t give a damned about their mentally ill relatives? Politicians always take the easy way out every time one of these situations arises in our history and that is taking the law abiding citizens rights away, while the criminals celebrate and the mentally ill still goes without treatment.
