Hadar Goldin, IDF officer kidnapped in Gaza, is engaged to be married

Hadar Goldin, feared kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza on Friday, is a British-born Givati Brigade officer who is set to get married in the next few weeks. Two other Givati Brigade soldiers were confirmed by the IDF to have been killed in the attack — Major Benaya Sarel, 26, from Kiryat Arba, and 1st.-Sgt. Liel Gidoni, 20, from Jerusalem. One terrorist blew himself up near the group, while other gunmen kidnapped Goldin and escaped into a tunnel. 2nd Lt. Goldin, 23, is one of four children of a UK immigrant family.
