    I have always wondered if Paul Ryan was shrewdly placed where he is for a time such as this, after reading about his wife Janna Little Ryan.
    Janna Ryan, born in 1969 Janna Christine Little, in Madill, OK
    She graduated from Wellesley College, same college Hillary graduated from, and George Washington University where she earned her law degree.
    She comes from strong Democratic roots: her uncle, David Boren, was a Democratic governor and U.S. senator. David’s son and Ryan’s cousin, Dan Boren, is a Democratic U.S. representative. She also worked as a congressional aide for some years for Democratic U.S. Representative Bill Brewster.
    Upon graduating from George Washington University she remained in Washington, D.C., for about a decade, working as a congressional aide. Then she worked as a corporate lobbyist, representing some of the big names in the drug, cigar and oil industries…Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, Marathon Oil, the United Parcel Service and the Cigar Association of America. In a period of about three years, Ryan’s 20 corporate clients paid more than $2.7 million in lobbying fees to her two employers, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Williams & Jensen, according to an August 2012 Huffington Post article.
    Ryan pursued her career in Washington until 2000, when she married Paul Ryan, with whom she had run in the same circles while on Capitol Hill.
