Another great example of government by the people, the only question is “What people”?

“… Protect Party Leaders from Grassroots Competition”

Yeah, we wouldn’t want any democracy among the Democrat Party.

There is real danger in this as I see it for the Dems.

Let’s say that Sanders wins the popular vote tally overall, but Clinton, because of her having bought and paid for the ‘Super Delegates’, is crowned the nominee. What are the Sanders people going to do? They’re the idealistic young, the anti-establishment hordes who are looking for political revolution of the kind that Mr Hope And Change hasn’t been able to deliver on.

So now what? They see their guy Bernie being underhandedly dealt with by the Clintonistas… the Clanton gang and all of the acolytes in the Dem Party establishment.

My guess is that the idealistic will be feeling the burn over the Bern getting cheated out of the deal, because of the lock on the Super Delegates by the Clanton Gang. They could sit this election out. Or some of them could go for Trump… he’s proven himself able to work with the unions, who are now hedging their endorsements of the Dems, possibly going for Trump.

In any event, this Super Delegate thing might could bite the Dems in the butt.

Of course, the hierarchy of the party will see what’s happening and decide to announce a revision. “From the date of the start of the convention forth, the number of Super Delegates shall be apportioned as follows: For each Super Delegate stuffed in Hillary’s purse there shall be 2.718 Super Delegates ceremonially awarded to Bernie. This out of the goodness of our hearts.”

But surprise, surprise… by complete honesty and coincidence, after much accuracy in accounting…Hillary will still be the winner… by one delegate overall.

Whoa! Did I read that correctly?

Is this the same party who whines all the time about ballot ID laws suppressing the will of their voters? It sounds like party management is doing the exact same thing!

It’s like Animal Farm… “Some votes are more equal than other votes”…
