New Hampshire Representative Susan DeLemus Says Federal agents mobilizing at Las Vegas to raid Bundy Ranch
    Sunday, April 20, 2014 8:00

    (Before It’s News)
Yesterday New Hampshire House of Representative Susan DeLemus and her husband Jarry where talking about the situation regarding the mobilization of federal agents gearing up to raid the Bundy Ranch. Jarry is currently at the Bundy Ranch where he got wind of the situation.

Susan DeLemus message is as followed:
“I’m talking with Jerry right now. He said that a Law Enforcement Officer told him last night that Federal agents are being moved into Las Vegas. The Officer claimed that there were about 140 agents in the city. Recon sent in by Jerry found that there are more agents than can be counted! The hotels are being filled with Federal Agents, Rangers and FBI arriving in unmarked vehicles. Most of the vehicles are white, some are black. They are being parked in secure areas and are under lock and key and some are in back parking as well. So no one can nosing around. Never mind those who may be flying in. They’re obviously building up for something. Three guesses what they could be up to. More Patriots are needed out there. Rotation is indeed in place. The Patriots who are there need all the help they can get in every way possible. It’s still very serious out there. Las Vegas is 80 miles away from the Bundy property. So maybe an hour a half away. NOT FAR!! If you’re planning to answer to the call, gear up and bring food. They’re running a little low right now and Pray, Pray, Pray. Please share this one like mad!!!”
Also, New Documents Reveal that the Obama Adninistration and BLM Feds are Planning More Land-Grabbing.
New information in the form of internal BLM documents has been obtained by Utah Congressman Rob Bishop illustrating a potential imminent threat of further federal land acquisition. The 22 page report reveals discussions have taken place within BLM regarding federal government seizure of additional Western state lands, either legislatively or through the Antiquities Act. That act gives a president the authority to designate national monuments unilaterally.
The BLM described the documents as being “just brainstorming sessions” within BLM, with no decisions made “as to which areas, if any, might merit more serious review and consideration.”
On Friday a meeting of lawmakers and policymakers from eight Western states took place in Salt Lake City with the goal of ultimately removing the federal government from the management of state lands.
Idaho House Speaker Scott Bedke (R-Twin Falls) said, “It is time states in the West came of age. We are every bit as capable of managing the lands within our boundaries as are the states to our east, those states east of Colorado.”
    579 western states map 610
Not only are those in the west fully capable of managing their own lands, they make compelling arguments that they are more capable than the federal government. Bedke highlighted degraded forest ecosystems which have occurred as a result of federal mismanagement as an example. Federal mismanagement has endangered watersheds and led to calamitous wildfires.
Bedke said, “We are burning up each summer in Idaho.” He compared the degradation and stress of state-managed lands to those of the federal managed areas, which show the state lands in much better condition under exposure to virtually identical hazards.
Those in attendance included officials from Wyoming, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon and Utah.
Montana Sen. Jennifer Fielder, who co-organized the summit, said “There is a distinct difference in the way federal agencies are managing the federal lands today. They used to do a good job, but they are hamstrung now with conflicting policies, politicized science and an extreme financial crisis at the national level. It makes it impossible for these federal agencies to manage the lands responsibly anymore.”
In Utah, The Transfer of Public Lands Act, sponsored by Rep. Ken Ivory, R-West Jordan was signed into law by Utah Gov. Gary Herbert in 2012.
Utah House Speaker Becky Lockhart said, “The majority of these states have more federal land within their borders than land of their own. It is about fairness.” She said other states are exploring enacting measures similar to those of Utah, not only in solidarity but to remedy their own versions of the same problem.
Lockhart and Ivory pointed out that this is not a new problem. She remarked how the “great Western state of Illinois,” was once held in 90 percent federal ownership.
Environmental groups argue that the ideas are reckless, pointing to the potential risk to pristine land being “auctioned off to the highest bidder” with little regard to environmental impacts. Those concerns are not mitigated by federal management, so true environmental should be onboard with this state action as well.
The video below is from an interview Rep Bishop gave in 2010, showing this is not a new problem. The BLM and the feds were playing the same game then.

The momentum is building in the west for the federal government to “take a hike” from managing and controlling public lands. The recent events in Nevada have fueled a fire which has been burning for a long time.

BLM document reveals big change in federal land management
    By Sarah Dallof August 5th, 2010 @ 6:00 pm

SALT LAKE CITY — KSL 5 News has obtained a document that outlines a huge change in how the federal government wants to manage federal land in Utah, and one Utah congressman says it makes him furious.

Congressman Rob Bishop’s office also recently received the document. Bishop said he’s angry because it would put virtually all land management power in the hands of the White House.

Of the 264 million acres under BLM management, some 130- to 140-million acres are worthy of consideration as treasured lands. These areas [are] roughly equivalent in size to Colorado and Wyoming combined.
    –BLM’s Treasured Lanscapes paper
A portion of the document was leaked back in February and led to speculation about a federal land grab in Utah. It talked about the creation of a 12 new national monuments

Now, an outside source provided KSL with the entire document, and it does suggest a dramatically new philosophy for managing federal land.

The Bureau of Land Management’s document is stamped with “Internal Draft. Not for release.” Titled “Treasured Landscapes,” it lays out what some consider a sweeping and detailed plan for the next 25 years.

It took Bishop months to get the document, which lays out the context for the snippets released a few months ago.

“They have clearly been dragging their feet, and they don’t want to let us know what they’re trying to do,” Bishop says.

He is especially concerned about portions of the document that recommend using the Antiquities Act “should the legislative process not prove fruitful.” The act gives the president power to designate a national monument with no public or legislative input.

The U.S. Department of the Interior released a statement Thursday that reads, in part: “The preliminary internal discussion draft reflects some brainstorming discussions within BLM, but no decisions have been made about which areas, if any, might merit more serious review and consideration.” [CLICK HERE to read the entire statement]

“Their brainstorming session was how to do this without engaging Congress, without having to go to Congress for approval,” Bishop said.

There are those who support what is a radical new departure in land management — the idea of protecting whole ecosystems instead of just individual parcels.

Kirk Robinson, executive director of the Western Wildlife Conservancy, says the vision within the pages is urgently needed.

“I’d like to see some real planning developed out of it,” Robinson said. “It obviously is a brainstorming kind of thing thing, but you have to do that before you take intelligent action.”
