Dear Dr. Taitz,
I dont agree with you on many issues because we belong to two different political parties. I am a progressive democrat and member of firedoglake.com… However, as a protest vote I will cast my vote for you for CA’s Secretary of State. Barack Obama has sold out the very base that got him into power. This Health Care bill is not the bill that true progressive liberals wanted. My vote for you will be my first Republican vote I have EVER casted – But, it’s time to hold Barack Obama and the democratic party accountable for violating their promises and breaking touch with their base.
Respectfully,
Karen M.
Response:
Thank you Karen for your support,
As a Sec of State of CA I am looking to to be an advocate for CA corporations and stand up to Fed Gov. Currently over regulation is forcing corporations out of state and out of the country. The country is losing jobs by the millions. It affects my family, my children and many of our friends and neighbors, who belong to different parties. When water is switched off in the Central valley of CA, 45,000 farmers are becoming jobless and homeless and getting food packages from China. That’s insanity, which affects Republicans and Democrats alike. This is not a party issue. As I am a pro-active citizen and attorney, I intend to be a pro-active Secretary of State and, if need to be, sue federal Government and EPA on behalf of CA corporations and on behalf of people working for those corporations, in order to loosen oppressive regulations and get people working again.
Cleaning up elections fraud is not a party issue either, it is an issue of dignity and Constitutional rights of American citizens.
Respectfully,
Orly Taitz
