How come Grayson didn’t file suit against Obama when Obama was running for office? Typical Democrat/Liberal hypocrisy. They disregard the law unless it suits their purpose.

The dems said Oba Mao was eligible b/c his mother was a US citizen. Cruz says he is eligible b/c his mother was a US Citizen. Neither is correct as citizen goes by father. Cruz mother became a Canadian citizen which makes him even less eligible. I will not vote for Cruz or Rubio and millions of others will not either. 2 wrongs don’t make it right. I am disappointed both have the gall to run. I like Cruz and wish he was eligible but plain and simple he is NOT.

Birth Abroad to One Citizen and One Alien Parent in Wedlock
A child born abroad to one U.S. citizen parent and one alien parent acquires U.S. citizenship at birth under Section 301(g) of the INA provided the U.S. citizen parent was physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for the time period required by the law applicable at the time of the child’s birth. (For birth on or after November 14, 1986, a period of five years physical presence, two after the age of fourteen, is required. For birth between December 24, 1952 and November 13, 1986, a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen, is required for physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.) The U.S. citizen parent must be the genetic or the gestational parent and the legal parent of the child under local law at the time and place of the child’s birth to transmit U.S. citizenship.

Where is standing codified in law, and not just a judicial preference?

Yeah, and this will open the door to real transparency…
And this what we need, ASAP!
If he does get this done, Cruz and the others will need to explain WHY they did this?
There are no excuses when a candidate tries to override the Constitution!
And I’ve had my own battles to fight, as well, in just trying to explain this to others! And some of the others were in public service!!!

Cruz could do the right thing and announce his ineligibility for the presidency and throw his support to Trump with the hope of being appointed attorney general.

Steve WittLake…There is a Big difference between “Natural Born Citizen and a U.S. Citizen.”
Laws and court opinions do not amend the U.S. Constitution. That requires ARTICLE V. process.
