Instead of letting the city rot, redevelopment and uplifting jobs programs could have been done.

When the power elite in that city allow areas to not be built up since 1968 riots and do not provide economic means to give hope and future..this is the result.

They can give Solynra $528 million in government backing but not a COMMUNITY..

THIS IS THE PROBLEM IN AMERICA.. MONEY CAN BE GIVEN TO OTHERS FOR GREED AND CORRUPTION BUT NOT GIVEN TO UPLIFT AND SAFEGUARD THE NEXT GENERATION.

WHEN WE DO NOT DO EVERYTHING WE CAN..EVIL FALLS BACK ON US…

THIS IS PURE EVIL..TO FORGET A COMMUNITY AND VIEW THE COMMUNITY AS LOW, VILE, NOTHING TO PROVIDE TO SOCIETY, BENEATH.

Rememeber Baltimore did have a thriving society until the powers that be, SNATCHED THEIR ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT FROM THEM… ILLEGALLY I MIGHT ADD..

SO STOP POINTING FINGERS AND KNOW THE ROOT CAUSE OF WHY PEOPLE ARE IN THE POSITIONS THEY ARE IN. ITS NOT BECAUSE THEY CANT PULL THEMSELVES UP FROM THE BOOTSTRAPS IT’S BECAUSE THE BOOTSTRAPS WERE TAKEN FROM THEM..
    REPEATEDLY……

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-11-12/u-s-expects-5-billion-from-program-that-funded-solyndra

Nov. 12 (Bloomberg) — The U.S. government expects to earn $5 billion to $6 billion from the renewable-energy loan program that funded flops including Solyndra LLC, supporting President Barack Obama’s decision to back low-carbon technologies.
The Department of Energy has disbursed about half of $32.4 billion allocated to spur innovation, and the expected return will be detailed in a report due to be released as soon as tomorrow, according to an official who helped put together the data.
The results contradict the widely held view that the U.S. has wasted taxpayer money funding failures including Solyndra, which closed its doors in 2011 after receiving $528 million in government backing. That adds to Obama’s credibility as he seeks to make climate change a bigger priority after announcing a historic emissions deal with China.

as it is, Baltimore gets millions of taxpayer dollars, as Social Security head-quarters are there and this provides thousands of jobs for minorities, the schools in Baltimore are among the highest paid. There is a need for a different leadership, change from public schools to charter schools

Hogan can’t make spending switch without Assembly OK
Twice in the past few days, Republican Gov. Larry Hogan has declared that he won’t spend money as the Democratic-controlled legislature prescribed in the budget, and will instead spend it for causes he favors.
Hogan said he would take $68 million that lawmakers set aside for schools and use it to shore up what he calls an underfunded pension system. Later, he said he intends to veto $2 million in renovations for a creative-arts center in Annapolis and will reopen a state police barracks instead.
But he cannot legally make such funding switches over the General Assembly’s objections, according to the Maryland attorney general’s office and other legislative experts.

Maryland Governor Withholds Money From Schools To Fund State Pensions
Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) announced Thursday that he will not be releasing $68 million allocated by the state legislature for education, of which $11.6 million would have gone to Baltimore’s public schools.
Instead, he’ll be using the money to boost the state’s pension fund, he said.
Hogan’s decision comes amid increased national attention on the resources, or lack of resources, available to Baltimore’s poor residents after the civil unrest there in late April.
The $68 million amounts to just half the money Maryland’s schools should be getting according to the state’s Geographic Cost of Education Index (GCEI), a formula intended to compensate parts of the state where funding education is more expensive.
    _______
In timing that youth advocates say represent the state’s misguided priorities, the education funding announcement follows the state’s approval of the $30 million construction of a youth jail in Baltimore earlier this week.

Is paper pushing going to bring economic recovering and development. A segmented economy is not.

Highest paid schools does not equate to an uplifting education. Equates to administrators getting paid and children getting left behind.

And even if they had an uplifting education for these children, I still believe we have issues in the power elite that would not invest in the community.

Why? We are shipping in illegals and H1Visas..Bias is still EVERPRESENT. WellsFargo fined for bias in mortgages…lending practices to low minority neighborhoods when crooks in Washington get negative rate loans..
    GET MY POINT..

    11million vs 68 million vs 528 million to Solyndra…

Strategy..lock up the youth and power elite stay in power…

This is what is meant by repeatedly removing the bootstraps…

Rice gets a second chance for punching out his wife and these kids get no chance….
