Carson, Fiorina and Rubio will turn Syria into a second Vietnam, they invoke Reagan not understanding that the economic and geo-political conditions when Reagan took office were vastly different from what they are today

By Dr. Orly Taitz ESQ

In the past two days Carson, Fiorina and Rubio appeared on FOX and advocated for US to start military actions in Syria starting with a no-fly zone.

People often underestimate consequences of a nation announcing a no-fly zone over a territory of another sovereign nation. If US announces a no-fly zone in North-Western Syria, it means that the US has to be prepared to shoot done any aircraft of the government of Syria and its’ ally, Russia.

So, let’s look at this game of chess. What will happen next? Do you think Putin will sit idly when US shoots down his planes? I don’t think so. He will go on a counter attack. Let’s remember, we do not have too many moderate allies in Syria. IG of the Department of Defense disclosed that after we spent $500 million training the allied moderate Syrian fighters, only five of them remained, the rest defected and joined either Al Qaeda or ISIS. So, in order to maintain this no-fly zone, we will have to send US ground troops as well. We just spent two trillion in Iraq and Afghanistan. Can we afford to spend another trillion in Syria considering that we are sitting on a 19 trillion debt? More importantly, can we risk losing thousands of lives in Syria or seeing a footage of American POWs sitting in some POW camps in Syria or Siberia? Should we turn Syria into a second Vietnam, as Carson,Fiorina and Rubio suggest, or should  we follow Trump’s approach and let Russia and ISIS fight each other. Just today it was announced that Russia bombed Palmyra, an ancient city captured by ISIS. Shouldn’t we let Russia bomb Rakaa, the capital of ISIS, as well?

If you recall, when Russia invaded Afghanistan, it was called the “Bear trap” or “Soviet Vietnam.” Russia walked into a trap, which I believe was set by Zbignev Brzezinski. Russia kept about 110,000 troupes in Afghanistan at all times and a total of 620,000 served in Afghanistan. About 28,000 Soviet troupes were killed and double that number were wounded. Up to 1.5 million locals died and millions became refugees. The economic load of the Afghan occupation was one of the main contributing factors to the fall of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw pack.

Let’s remember that Reagan played it smart, he did not counter invade Afghanistan, he did not commit US troupes, he broke the back of the Soviet Union by letting the Soviets self destruct in conjunction with the policies of sanctions and some currency manipulations.

Going back to Reagan, current presidential candidates, such as Carson, Fiorina and Rubio do not understand or do not want to understand the fact that the geo-political and economic situation during Reagan era was vastly different from what it is today.

First and foremost, we were not bankrupt then. When Reagan took office in 1980 we had less than one trillion debt, about 900 billion. Today were are facing an astronomic debt of 19 trillion, half of which was incurred by Obama. We cannot commit to any military actions until and unless we get out of de facto bankruptcy. For that reason Trump is correct in that he proposes first and foremost to close the borders and rescind and renegotiate free trade agreements, which gave  us this enormous debt. We have to pass the balanced budget amendment, pay off the debt, put aside money for a rainy day fund, we have to make sure that 95 million Americans, who are currently not in labor force, are working again. Sadly, Rubio sided with out ruling oligarchy in supporting these disastrous free trade agreements, such as TPP. Fiorina supported these agreements while CEO of HP and fired 30,000 Americans to hire cheap foreign labor. Carson did not directly speak out in favor of  those agreements, but he did not speak out against them as Trump did.

Further, Trump is correct in stating that what we need, is development of strategic weapons. Let’s go back to the time of Soviet occupation in Afghanistan. One of the major contributing factors in Soviet loss of that war, was development and implementation of Stinger missiles, which Mujahedeen  used to down some 450 Soviet military aircraft. Another strategic military development, was “Star Wars” systems adopted by Reagan.

Today, we do not have strategic weapons, which would be vastly superior to Russian or Chinese weapons. We can’t even provide security for computer data in our government agencies. I am not an engineer  and not a nuclear scientists, but we do have brilliant engineers and scientists and I hope that they will come up with some strategic solutions. For example, alleged implementation of Sextnet computer virus lead to the sabotage of Iranian nuclear program. Maybe, it will be a different weapon, maybe electromagnetic pulse weapon or some other strategic weapon, which can stop or neutralize nuclear fusion or disable computer control systems in Iranian nuclear sites.

Bottom line, we don’t need a frontal attack approach, we need a smart approach and I believe that Trump provides one.

Comments:

Orly,

I absolutely agree . . . one mistake, such as shooting at a Russian aircraft, or downing one, even if the USA is innocent of the act . . . . could touch off a Vietnam-like war, or worse . . . . WWIII.
It seems Mr. Trump is the only one who understands this extreme risk.  “Vlad, the Impaler” is there for a reason . . . to reconstitute Russia and enlarge its area of influence, either directly or indirectly.
Hopefully, this mess will be Russia’s Second Afghanistan and will be cleaned up when Iran and Russia get caught in their final struggle for power and control.
Hopefully, America will have the Common Sense to back off while the bad guys kill each other, but the downside is millions more innocent folks will be murdered in the process.
America has only the obama Regime, including kerry, to thank for this mess.  They have set off a Nuclear Arms Race in the Middle East that has consequences on the entire world.

to Tom, me
Not only that, Reagan only fought wars he knew he could win, against small nations like Granada. His bombing raid on Libya only lasted a night. When the barracks was blown up in Lebanon, he pulled out. Reagan was smart enough never to get bogged down.
All of these idiots who think they are imitating Reagan have no idea how his mind worked. He was very sparing of American lives.
Pipsqueaks like Dubbya thought they were being Reagan like but hadn’t a clue.

All we need is a policy change in Washington to stop exploiting the war and start making it clear that we can settle the issue today without subjecting our forces to being blown up with roadside bombs. When are we going to admit that the democrats are using these terrorists for their own purposes. The blood of both 911’s, the Cole bombing, the cop killings, and the school massacres is on the hands of the democrats and gay media.

The reason Trump is so far ahead in the polls is that the people realize he’s the only candidate with any common sense. We’re burdened with politicians following one particular dogma or another rather than using their brains.Russia is not our enemy as in the Reagan years. Radical Islam is our enemy and we should be working with Russia to stamp it out and stay away from any confrontation with Russia.

Orly has a very good comment on what the solution is…

The (3) people she speaks of just either don’t know squat…or they don’t care and are pretty much controlled by the “wood-ticks” of the NWO!

And, Orly, that case that was supposed to be held on the 20th…I continue to say that you are superb in your efforts!

And I’m wondering if this cancelling of the case has anything to do with the Congress voting for the TPP and O getting his way in this????

Riots by muslim mobs in Sweden.

“The unrest and destabilization in Sweden, which has received zero coverage in the U.S. media even as President Obama plans to ramp up his own refugee welcoming program, is exactly the type of UPHEAVAL that the global elite have planned for all of Western Europe and America.”

Do these masses of “migrants” all have their vaccination shots before they break in?
Are they bringing the gift that keeps on giving measles, smallpox, diphtheria whooping cough, tb, polio? how are the already vaccinated children in Europe and USA protected?
