The public is “rightfully” making questions about Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president into an issue, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin declared yesterday.
“Would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?” Palin was asked in an interview on the Rusty Humphries national radio show.
“I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don’t have a problem with that. I don’t know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers,” she replied.

Humphries asked: “Do you think it’s a fair question to be looking at?”
“I think it’s a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records – all of that is fair game,” Palin said. “The McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area.”
Palin said it was legitimate to question Obama’s eligibility, referring to “the weird conspiracy theory freaky thing that people talk about that Trig isn’t my real son – ‘You need to produce his birth certificate, you need to prove that he’s your kid,’ which we have done.
“Maybe we can reverse that, and use the same [inaudible] thinking on the other one,” she added.

Palin also addressed her campaign’s treatment of Obama’s radical associates, such as former pastor Jeremiah Wright and unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers.
“McCain-Palin campaign didn’t do a good enough job in that area,” she said. “We didn’t call out Obama and some of his associates on their records and what their beliefs were, and perhaps what their future plans were, and I don’t think that was fair to voters to not have done our job as candidates and a campaign to bring to light a lot of things that now we’re seeing manifest in the administration.”

After Humphries’ interview, however, Palin posted a message on her Facebook page under the banner “Stupid conspiracies,” clarifying that she has not and will not press the issue of the president’s eligibility.
“Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask … which they have repeatedly,” she writes.
“But at no point – not during the campaign, and not during recent interviews – have I asked the president to produce his birth certificate or suggested that he was not born in the United States.”

I may go to her book signing in Fairfax tomorrow. If I do, I will ask her about it! She’s dancing around the issue somewhat, but you’ve got to give her credit for stating that the questions are valid – which is more than anyone else will say. I’m sure she doesn’t want to go down this road right now as the media wolves are just waiting for something juicy like this to jump on to totally destroy her. Meanwhile, Al Gore canceled his big Copenhagen speech and is hiding in a bunker somewhere since this whole Climategate scandal broke, but you won’t hear a word about that in the mainstream press…I think we need a Natural Born Citizen/Climategate march on Washington.

Hi Orly, I contacted the amazing Sarah Palin’s spokesperson Meg Stapleton (she is sooo AWESOME!!) and gave her your email address (dr_taitz@yahoo.com), she said that she would be “looking into this” and doing some “research for real Americans”. This sounds sooo great! I am 120% certain that Sarah’s research team wil be taking on this issue. She is the most effective politician in the history of America, and you can be sure that if she investigates it she’ll find out Obama is a FRAUD!

ihv>> as much as i believe that palin was denied the right to help win the presidency, should she run in the next election, and doesnt address the citizenship issue, this is one vote she is going to lose.. no more than that.. i am sure i can talk a lots of friends and family to do likewise.
i am tired of people shying away from this issue..and i know i am about to piss off a lots of people but the main reason they wont confront him is because he is black.. any other race and this would have been resolved long ago . its time to clear this up NOW…..

will++++++++++++++God Bless you, will, for having the guts to tell the truth! You won’t hear anyone saying it, but one of the MAJOR reasons BO was chosen by his handlers – e.g. Soros, et al – was because he’s BLACK. They tasked BO with taking down America and installing communism/socialism/Marxism — and they KNEW the only person who could succeed would be a BLACK man. Why? Because, no one would DARE to push back on a BLACK man when he did his dirty deeds – no one would dare, because they knew they would be called a racist. No WHITE man could possibly get away with what BO has. We would immediately demand that he knock off the Marxist crap! But, with a BLACK man, we are intimidated, as we stand by, wringing our hands and watching him destroy our country – all for the simple fear of being accused of racism. Look what happens if anyone ever complains about BO or attempts to push back…they jump on the race card and throw it at us. His America-hating handlers were extremely smart and perceptive when they picked a black man to “change” America. BTW, BO knows this, and is fully engaged.
