2 more plead guilty in Obama student loan case

(AP) – 3 days ago

DES MOINES, Iowa — Two former employees of a U.S. Department of Education contractor in Iowa have pleaded guilty to illegally viewing President Barack Obama’s student loan records.

Julie Kline of Ainsworth, Iowa, pleaded guilty Friday to exceeding authorized computer access. Gary Grenell of Iowa City pleaded guilty to the charge July 12. Both face up to one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.

They were among nine former employees of Vangent Inc. accused of viewing Obama’s student loan records between 2007 and 2009.

Three other defendants have pleaded guilty, and four are scheduled for trial.

Diane Zitner, listed as Grenell’s attorney in court records, declined comment. A telephone message left for Kline’s attorney wasn’t immediately returned.

Does anybody have any more info on these 9 persons tried for accessing BO’s student records? For example, what did they see when they accessed his files or was the case strictly limited to the record of accessing the file? Where is the Transparency BO promised? Hopefully some of these individuals can verify that BO’s student status was as a foreign student with Indonesian citizenship or where ever foreign country he said he was from at that time.
