t Dear Dr. Orly-I thought that you might find this story interesting. I don’t know what the law is in their department is, maybe just simple curiosity the new trend seems to be anyone asking questions re: Obama eligibility is threatened, harassed or fired for their efforts. My question to the administration why the paranoia which seems to be on steroids?

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Two DeKalb County Officers are being investigated for allegedly performing a background check on President Barack Obama.
They have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
Officials would not release the names of the officers. The incident occurred on July 20, according to DeKalb County officials.
The United States Secret Service notified county officials that DeKalb County computer equipment was utilized to do a query on the President.
Such behavior, said William “Miz” Miller, DeKalb Public Safety director, is not to be tolerated.
“As Public Safety Director for DeKalb County, I want everyone to know that we take these allegations very seriously,” he said in a statement. “We expect our officers to adhere to professional standards and departmental policy. Furthermore, we do not and will not condone the inappropriate use of county equipment or resources.”
The county’s Internal Affairs division is handling the official investigation

    I really don’t see anything wrong with running back ground check on anyone.

    Those officers are true Americans and should not be punished in my opinion. I really don’t see anything wrong.

    What a hoot! The Dekalb Public Safety Director, William Miller, is livid about law enforcement personnel doing their jobs which are involved with public safety. Perhaps the good Public Safety Director and his associates should be investigated for abuse of power and fraud and RICO (if Constitutional) charges pursued.

    Officers of the law are not allowed to access anyone’s personal info through NCIC or GCIC unless there is an active investigation or they have the subject in custody. I know this because I am a former Georgia police officer. Every year NCIC/GCIC audits the use of their system and if you cannot show an active investigation or check of someone in custody then the department can lose their certification.

    Well it looks like the criminal complaints (all of them,6 at last count) need to be presented to DeKalb PD.Then those officers would be legal ?

    Nope Bill, it would not be legal. There are no pending criminal complaints. The “grand jury indictments” are not even worth the paper they are printed on. A private citizen CAN petition the court to issue a criminal warrant based on criminal activity – such as a person known to you vandalized your property – but a private citizen cannot issue an indictment against anyone. But – even with a pending criminal case, only the investigating officers are allowed to access the information. NCIC and GCIC have very strict guidelines and these officers knew what they were.

    Note: Obama has MULTIPLE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS that to my knowledge is a crime!

    The citizen grand juries are legal and constitutional. Also, there is a criminal complaint filed, I believe, in Georgia by retired naval commander Fitzpatrick. There are lawsuits in the court systems with Kerchner and Alan. Time is not a luxury, when a criminal is in the White House and people are threatened and intimidated who question is legitimacy. Instead of proving he is legitimate, he mocks and intimidates.

    There is an obvious felon in the White House with multiple social security numbers. These officers are heros and follow their conscience, a higher authority than laws, when there are obviously laws being broken by the “top supervisor” and it is endangering their own families’ welfare and the entire nation.

    I hope that these police officers are applauded for standing up against voter fraud, and that more and more people spread the word. Time will show these men to be patriots, and perhaps as they share with their department the reasons for their concerns, they will all realize including their bosses, that they were justified in upholding their oath and doing their jobs to protect fellow citizens.

    You always follow the rules until your conscience shows you there is a higher law in action. That is why “I am just following orders” does not always work. They were not acting frivolously or without cause. This was not researching a neighbor down the street, but researching a person who lived in a house provided by a convicted felon in prison and who has multiple social security numbers, and has a criminal complaint against him filed by a retired naval officer. Seems reasonable to me!

    Those who do not remember history are condemned to repeat it-still applies. In our recent history we were attacked Sept 11,2001. How did this happen? Well terrorists who were bent on destruction were able to move around the United States of America at will. I live in Florida now, they were able to attend flight schools easily and do whatever they wanted no one checked. The United States of America is attacked. Many innocent people are killed/murdered. Government cracks down, tries to close as many loop holes as possible, but we know not all are closed or could be closed. Of all the illegal aliens in our country how many are criminals? We don’t know. Do they desire citizenship via naturalization? We don’t know. Do they desire to become citizens at all? We always have to be diligent for ourselves and our fellow citizens.
    Now we come to Obama no credentials what so ever and we are blindly supposed to say That’s Cool. I have no idea what this man’s possible agenda could be. On so many points he is not a natural born citizen that in itself is criminal, in light of 9/11 this is criminal insanity. That is why we cannot give up on this issue. Again to Dr. Orly and all the lawyers and their staffs, volunteers, clients, patriots. Thank you so much.

    Criminal complaints filed by a private citizen are not ongoing criminal investigations. They are complaints, that is all. If the district attorney or state solicitor says there is no criminal investigation then the complaint will just be filed and that is the end of that.

    This situation is not a matter of just following rules, it is a matter of the department in question keeping its NCIC certification. How would you like it if an officer didn’t like you, for whatever reason – he/she thought you might be a criminal but there wasn’t an ongoing investigation – and he/she ran a criminal background just to see what you had done in your past? Well, you would have a right to sue for a violation of your civil rights and the department could have their NCIC certification pulled. Please, please, please – understand that in this situation there is no room to wiggle.

    Whenever an officer runs a criminal or driver’s history he/she has to log it in and put a reason as to why the history was pulled. NCIC then comes in and runs a list of all histories pulled and compares to the log. Believe me, they had better match up and you had better have a reason as to why you did what you did.

    Dear Dr. Orly-I just remembered something. Obama’s alias’ could they have put in one of the many alias Obama names or the many variations on the name, or the multiple social security numbers? or could this be a real other person? The only thing I remember was that there lots of alias’ scattered all over the country.

    Michelle – just a quick point. I believe that it was the database Lexis Nexis that was used that brought up the “alias” and multiple SS numbers. Something that is very important to know about this database, (I use it all of the time so I am very familiar with it), is that 1) the information is only as good as the person who keyed it in and 2) it will bring up any name that is similar to the one you are searching for. Usually the person you are looking for is in the first 1-5 subjects. This database is compiled of information from many sources, depending on the state that the person lives in. In my state vehicle registrations are not available. This database is not reliable enough to depend on other than as a base on which to begin your search for someone.

    RJJ – whatever information they gleaned is protected and if they were to release it they would be subject to criminal prosecution and a civil lawsuit.

    Obama could not get a security clearance in the military with his background and associates. And you’re complaining about this investigation. A criminal investigation is exactly what he needs and not too soon.

    A grand jury convened directly by citizens issues a presentment which becomes an indictment after submission to and action by a government prosecutor. A grand jury convened by a government prosecutor issues an indictment.

    Historically, the citizen grand juror is a defense against corrupt officials. However, this defense seems to require a non-corrupt government prosecutor within the jurisdiction in question, whereas a 1776% solution does not.

    Liberty: show me where these “indictments” of the citizens grand juries have been accepted by a government prosecutor. Thay haven’t and they won’t because they are not legally convened. A grand jury must consist of a cross section of citizens that are not biased in any way. The “grand juries” convened to date have had only one goal in mind – to issue indictments. Therefore, not one will be taken seriously and will never be prosecuted – so there is not one ongoing criminal investigation .

    Joseph – have you cross referenced each and every “multiple social security numbers” by correct full name and DOB? Or are some of these listed to people with similar sounding names? Do they each have the same date of birth? Or any birthdate listed at all?

    Note: Most of the SSN’s are for people that have died.

    re: Multiple social security #’s is this being pursued? Is there any way of identifying original holders of these social security #’s.? What if inheritance issues came up? This is identity fraud. How many different social security numbers did the Obama’s use? Why did they do this? There is something real dicey going on with these social security numbers? Which part of security don’t I understand? I’m sure everyone has many questions re: multiple social security numbers.

    It seems to me that it is a violation of the law just by Obama refusing verify his natural born citizenship status. And other criminal acts have been the violation and overstepping of his executive powers by nationalizing the auto industry, firing the CEO (this of itself is a criminal act) nationalizing the banks, appointing czars, etc. If it is not Constitutional, it is in violation of the law. Period!
    That’s a major problem these days it seems, especially with lawyers. They can’t see the forest for the trees or have to take such a circuitous route to find the solution they get lost along the way. IF IT VIOLATES THE CONSTITUTION, IT IS UNLAWFUL!
    One of my favorite Bible verses tells us a lot about today’s society:

    Maybe you should find these guys and let them know about the SS#’s and anything else you can come up with to help them out. Yeah, I know what they did was wrong, but you know Obama is breaking the law with every bill he signs.
