Here is a link to a site I found. I assume this would be an innocent request to ask for the names of the Registrars from 1960 to 1970 who handled Mombasa Kenya.

Perhaps you can contact the Iowa Guy who has Obama’s Kenyan BC.
    https://www.youtube.com/user/InspectorSmith

He claims he has Obama’s Kenyan BC. However, he never did release it so WND ruled it a hoax. However, the guy did insist that it wasn’t a hoax and that he does indeed have Obama’s Kenyan BC. Perhaps, you might have some luck getting to him. I think African Press may gotten to him first. If that’s true, it may a lost cause. It’s worth a shot!

Someone from Hawaii should also check the birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser on August 13, 1961 and the Star-Bulletin on August 14, 1961. The originals are supposed to be on some microfilm available in the libraries in Honolulu. The reels are probably missing, too.

The owner of the residence located at 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy, the alleged address of Senator Obama’s parents when he was born, was Orland S. and Thelma S. (Young) Lefforge, both of whom are deceased.

    Obituary from Honolulu Advertiser:

    Orland Scott Lefforge – July 4, 2007
Orland Scott Lefforge, 91, of Honolulu, a University of Hawaii professor, died in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Pettisville, Ohio. He is survived by companion Thelma Young, son Daniel, daughters Andrea Harper and Mia Blake, brother Marian, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 11 a.m. next Saturday at the courtyard of George Hall, University of Hawaii at Manoa. Casual attire.

His wife/companion Thelma Jones Lefforge Young died June 12, 2008. This obituary should be checked too. Coincidentally, the original forgery of the COLB was edited in Photoshop on June 12, 2008 08:13.

Orland Lefforge was involved in Democrat politics and was an aide to Senator Inouye in 1967. His last address was:

    ORLAND S LEFFORGE
    4990 POOLA ST
    HONOLULU, HI 96821
    (808) 377-5751 (verify)

His son may still live at the address. His phone number is unpublished.

    DANIEL LEFFORGE
    4990 POOLA ST
    HONOLULU, HI 96821

    Thank You!

I have searched for hours on this and nothing. The mere fact that this name isn’t showing up on the net at all might be suspect. I think Jill’s suggestion would be the best.

Does anyone have a friend in England that they could call or text? I tried a few different searches (scrubbed?) I had an English girl friend and I know they are very into almanacs maybe someone has this at home or could go to the library there must be a list of Registrars somewhere. If I could I would call Scotland Yard.

The British Overseas Pensioners’ Association represents the interests of people who served in former British colonial territories of the British Empire. Their wesbite is
https://www.ospa.gov.uk and their email is mail@ospa.gov.uk
    Telephone: +44-1732-363836

They also have a Kenya Administration Club run by
peter.fullerton@btinternet.com and an East African society
    run by pamsparrow44@hotmail.com

I suggest someone contact them about E.F. Lavender who served in Mombassa Kenya in 1961. It’s possible that he’s alive. Once one knows his city of residence, one can access his phone number at:
    https://www.thephonebook.bt.com

Last but not least: if he’s alive, I know a senior British judge in Leeds who would be willing to accept a legal deposition.

    Good luck!

    Josh

E.F. Lavender was a clerk with Great Greta Coal Company Limited before he was a registrar for the Republic of Kenya.

That post about the Great Greta Coal Co. Ltd, I have tracked down to being from this document

    https://gazette.slv.vic.gov.au/images/1893/V/general/142.pdf

E F Lavender is listed as a clerk in an attorney’s office in Melbourne. Looks likely that if he began his career at 20 something he could have still been serving in 1961, in the British Colonial Administration in Kenya…same name, same profession…

I think Orly has been duped by this kenyan birth certificate…It appears more and more to be a forgery…I tried to warn Orly not to make a statement or publish anything until she was 100% assured of its legitimacy…If in fact, it is a fake, the BC controversy is dead, never to be brought up again!!!
