House Rebukes Obama w/ 429-2 Vote! Says “No Imperial President!”

The House yesterday voted overwhelmingly 429-2 to Rebuke President
Obama! It sent a clear message to Mr. Obama that he is NOT an IMPERIAL
President! After the overwhelming rebuke of the President by the House,
Barney Frank said of the stunning vote against Obama:
“We do this not just on behalf of this institution, but ON BEHALF OF
THIS DEMOCRACY. There’s kind of a unilateralism, an UNDEMOCRATIC,
UNREACHABLE way about these signing statements.” At issue is an
amendment added to the $106 Billion Supplemental War-Funding
legislation signed by Obama last month. During the signing, Obama
stated he would not follow the amendment’s constraints with respect to
the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Obama stated the
conditions “interfered” with his powers as President.
Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX) the Ranking Member of the Appropriations
Subcommittee for State-Foreign Operations, introduced the=2
0amendment
that won the 429-2 vote to reaffirm Congress’ role in controlling the
Administration as it spends hundreds of billions of dollars in
multilateral foreign assistance. After the vote, Rep. Granger said,
“I appreciate the bipartisan support for my amendment. I think we can
all agree that now more than ever we need to keep a watchful eye on how
we spend money regardless of whether its spent domestically or
overseas. Sending money overseas, and to an organization such as the
IMF with no commitment from the Administration to ensure the funds are
used properly or will not be given to any state sponsor of terrorism is
completely unacceptable.”
We applaud Rep. Granger and the responsible act of the House to rein in
this runaway freight train that is President Obama!
Notice, Rep. Granger said the purpose of the vote was to ensure, in
part, that Obama would not give our tax money to state sponsors of
terrorism! It took this overwhelming REBUKE of Congress to STOP Mr.
Obama from his stated plan to ignore the law.
The question is: Why has this not been reported on the national news?
Why have no major news outlets picked up on this. Despite all his
unpopularity, President Bush never suffered such an OVERWHELMING,
STINGING Rebuke by the Congress. If Bush had been Rebuked like this, it
would be the LEAD STORY for at least the Next 48 hours and probably be
a Major Election Issue!! Why is=2
0the Press silent when it comes to this
Rebuke of their “Anointed One”?? Enough is Enough!! Tell your media
outlets that it is unacceptable to fail to report this serious matter
of the President’s intended breach of the law by stating he would not
follow the amendments placed into the law he just signed. Tell Obama he
is NOT an IMPERIAL King, and neither is the Press!

“King Hussein” needs more than that rebuke. He needs to be removed from office for all the criminal activity he has done as well as his ineligibility, fraud, treason, perjury, etc. I am sure he has a very long laundry list of crimes.

Good point, must be the new math. To the rest of you who commented here it seems to me that, as was stated, the real issue is that of an alien Fascist/Communist impostor, in love with Muslim terrorists, must be removed, jailed, tried for the single greatest act of treason in our nation’s history and given his choice of a blindfold and a cigarette.
These same Congressmen have turned a blind eye to the usurpation of the seat of power in the lone remaining superpower. Every one of them should be tried along with the traitor in chief for their crimes against America and the abdication of their oath of office!

Someone made a typo, the number should be 429-2
House members approved an amendment by a 429-2 vote to have the Obama administration pressure the World Bank to strengthen labor and environmental standards and require a Treasury Department report on World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) activities. The amendment to a 2010 funding bill for the State Department and foreign operations was proposed by Rep. Kay Granger (R-Texas), but it received broad bipartisan support.

It was 429 to 2. Just switched the 2 and the 9 by accident. So four members must have abstained from voting.

Meg is right on the number actually 434 with one vacancy. Now I am worried because I forwarded this on to Matt Drudge. But Meg all this guy really did was reverse two numbers 2 and 9 which is corrected immediately under the error vote being 429-2.
You know I think this Obama is well on his way to self destructing because he suffers from mouth stupidity ITIS. This affair with e Mass Police officer and the unruly Zprofessor was VERY VERY local and in one second or two moron– our disgracefully stupid presdient-catapaults it in to national attention now wanting to have the police office and this anti-white recalcitrant professor meet for a beer in the white house instead of quickly apologizing for mis speaking and then shutting his mouth!!! I would tell Conley NOT to go to the white house even in light of the fact that his Town has a black mayor and his state has a black governor and our country has a mulatto preisdent –all three asserting their racial preeminence—it is now THE BLACK HOUSE, not the White House. for you and me. Major Cook is even willing to risk his life in

I think we all need to come together on Obama’s Birthday and demand a long form birth certificate from Obama!! I think we need to do something rather than letting the liberal media dictate what people think.
