Are US, Russia and other powers engaged in cyber war targeting each other’s ships? My theory of electronic sabotage of navigational systems of multiple ships is being echoed by experts. I wonder if MH 370 went missing because it’s navigation system was sabotaged as well

Are US, Russia and other powers engaged in cyber war targeting each other’s ships? My theory of electronic sabotage of navigational systems of multiple ships is being echoed by experts. I wonder if MH 370 went missing because it’s navigation system was sabotaged as well

By Dr. Orly Taitz, ESQ

On April 27 it was reported that Russian spy ship sunk after collision with freighter in the Black Sea.  On June 22nd  someone manipulated GPS signals in the eastern part of the Black Sea, leaving some 20 ships with little situational awareness. Shipboard navigation equipment, which appeared to be working properly, reported the location of the vessels 20 miles inland, near an airport.

On Jan. 31, a guided missile cruiser, the USS Antietam, ran aground off the coast of Japan. On May 9, another cruiser, USS Lake Champlain, was struck by a South Korean fishing vessel.

In the wee hours of June 17, a destroyer, the USS Fitzgerald, a $1.5 billion vessel bristling with electronics, collided with a container ship, resulting in the deaths of seven sailors. The commanding officer and two other officers were formally removed from duties.

The latest US NAVY ship that was affected by this apparent cyber sabotage war, was USS John McCain, which was located in the Malacca Straight, same area where Malaysian flight MH 370 disappeared from the radars. It was reported that  US experts on navigation security were on this flight. I am wondering if this flight was redirected by another power to get hold of those experts. I am also wondering why those experts were flying to China and the fact that there were two people on that flight with stolen passports and one of them was connected to Iranian intelligence.

This cyber war against ships is extremely dangerous and it can spill over to planes, trains and automobiles.  What’s even more unsettling is that we seem to be losing this war. So far, four US NAVY ships were taken out of commission. Also terrorists might exploit this vulnerability in cyber security.

There are several suspects in this war. Firstly, all four ships were damaged in the area of Eastern Asia, close to South China Sea, where China is building artificial islands threatening international navigation. China is the most obvious candidate as a saboteur. Second suspect is North Korea, however, I don’t believe that North Korea is as sophisticated as China. Third suspect is Russia, though it is not clear, why Russia would affect four US ships in East Asia. You would expect Russia to sabotage ships in Black Sea or Mediterranean.  Lastly, this can be Iran retaliating for sanctions and trying to cast a shadow on other nations.

At any rate, so far, we are losing this war and it is time for us to improve the cyber security in our satellite navigation  systems or we are in a world of trouble.

Apr 27, 2017 – Turkish officials say dozens of Russian sailors evacuated from sunken military reconnaissance ship “Liman”

That was the first known instance of GPS “spoofing,” or misdirection. https://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-world/national/national-security/article168470432.html

I read and watched a couple of reports, one from a former Naval Investigator that believes the USS Fitzgerald may have been hit by an a small EMP type missile. China is on the cutting edge with this technology, and the cargo ship may have shot it from a container at the bow of the ship.

The timing of the ship’s GPS whereabouts are tracked on a real time map. It’s very suspicious to say the least, when it took them a whole hour to report it, and they came about 180° to head back and then say it just had the accident.

Secondly, look at the photos of the the USS Fitzgerald’s damage, and there’s none at or near the water line. Then look at how the cargo ships are made, and its clear it wasn’t struck by another ship.

IEEE has been warning for years that the Chinese are the biggest manufacturer of processors that are used in navigation and systems control computers for aviation, marine, and land transportation systems. IEEE believes that it is impossible to determine if a processor is designed with a “kill switch” or other capability due to the immense complexity of processor design… Every control system in the US arsenal contains processors manufactured in China. This is because China is almost giving away billion $ technology to compete with other nations that manufacture the same level of technology at huge expense including USA. Now, where did all this silliness happen? Find out who made the command / control systems for these vessels of incident and don’t be surprised at the findings…

    Dear Orly,

My speculation is that there may be a tie-in between possible electronic interference with the Navy ships’ navigation and the strange medical problems that US embassy employees in Cuba have suffered: “serious as mild traumatic brain injury, and with likely damage to the central nervous system”, “investigating whether the diplomats were targets of a type of sonic attack directed at their homes”

Now take a look at this: https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/defense/2017-08-04/us-army-grounds-dji-drones-over-cyber-vulnerabilities

This is just validation of the vulnerabilities of Chinese manufactured systems that are purchased by US military. As I said, our most advanced weapon systems contain processors that come from China…

    To Bluto,

I read the articles that you referenced. It is very chilling info, and the kill switch article published in 2008, makes me wonder how much more effective the technology for sabotage has become in the past 9 years (from the article: “In short, the potential for tinkering with an integrated circuit is almost limitless, notes Princeton’s Lee. “The hardware design process has many steps,” she says. “At each step, you could do something that would make a particular part of the IC fail.”).

I consider China to be an enemy of the US. Apparently the Pentagon does not mind purchasing massive amount of tech from China. Talk about ‘sleeping with the enemy’.

I think it is very likely that the Navy ships’ navigation equipment had a kill switch or backdoor to tamper/sabotage and cause the destroyers to cut across the commercial ships. I wonder about the defense dept info that the Awan brothers had access to in their accessing of congress’ computers.

I remember Michael Hastings car crash several years ago, the car speeding up, abrupt right turn into a tree, crash throwing the engine 100 feet and fire destroying car. And, there was the strange death of Andrew Breitbart while walking home.

I recommend everyone to read your two referenced articles:
